Today I am:
Feeling: Humbled 🙏
Intention: Surrender 🤍
Goal: To accept reality as it is, not as I wish it to be

Gratitude:
Today I am grateful for the freedom that comes from admitting I don't have all the answers.

For a long time, I believed I could handle everything on my own. If something wasn't working, I would push harder. If life became difficult, I would try to force my way through it. I thought strength meant having control over everything around me.

What I've learned is that some of the greatest suffering in my life came from trying to control things that were never mine to control in the first place.

There is something incredibly freeing about being honest with myself, honest about my weaknesses, my struggles, and the areas where my own thinking and decisions led me into places I never intended to go.

The moment I stopped pretending I had everything figured out was the moment growth became possible.

Acceptance is not defeat. It is not giving up. It is simply acknowledging reality and saying, "This is where I am today." From there, change becomes possible.

I am grateful that I no longer have to carry the weight of doing everything alone. I am grateful to the people who have helped guide, challenge, and support me. Most of all, I am grateful that admitting I needed help did not make me weak; it became one of the strongest decisions I have ever made.

Some of the greatest breakthroughs in my life began the moment I stopped saying, "I've got this," and started saying, "I need help." 🤍

That simple act of honesty changed everything.

Recovery isn't about feeling good all the time…
It's about learning how to live through the moments that don't feel good. 💔➡️💪

Some days will feel heavy. Some moments will feel overwhelming. But healing is still happening even when you can't see it. God is still working, even in the struggle.

🌿 Keep showing up.
🌿 Keep trusting the process.
🌿 Keep holding on to hope.

Because recovery is not perfection… It's progress. And every step forward, no matter how small, is still a victory. 🙌

You are not alone, and you are not giving up. You are becoming stronger through it all. 💛

My story didn't end in addiction… it started in recovery.

There was a time when I thought numbing the pain was the only way to survive it. But God met me right in the middle of my brokenness and began a healing work in me that I never could have done on my own.

Recovery hasn't been perfect or easy, but it has been real. It's been about learning to face things instead of running, to pray instead of panic, and to trust God in the middle of the process.

I'm still becoming. I'm still healing. And I'm so grateful I don't walk this journey alone.

If you're in your own recovery journey, don't give up. God is not done with your story.

Today I choose to celebrate recovery, not because everything is easy, but because I'm still here, choosing to keep going.

There was a time I thought staying strong meant shutting everything down, numbing it out, pretending I was fine. But that kind of strength only lasted so long.

Now I understand strength differently. Strength is waking up and not giving up on yourself. It's feeling the weight and still choosing healing. It's praying instead of panicking. It's asking for help instead of isolating. It's taking one honest step at a time.

Recovery isn't a straight line, and it doesn't mean I don't struggle anymore. It means I don't struggle alone, and I don't stay stuck there anymore.

So if you're in recovery too—stay strong, even on the days you feel weak. Keep going, even if it's slow. You're not behind. You're healing.

I used to try to numb the pain just to make it through the day… anything to quiet the weight, anything to escape it.

But that never healed anything. It just delayed it.

Now I don’t run the same way anymore. I still feel the hard days, but I pray through them instead of pushing them down. I bring it to God rather than bury it. And somehow, even when it still hurts, I’m not alone in it anymore.

Healing hasn’t been perfect or pretty—but it’s real. And I’m still here. Still standing. Still becoming.

If you’re in a place where you’re just trying to survive, I get it. But there is more than numbness waiting on the other side. There is freedom. Join us on Thursdays at 7pm

This Memorial Day, Celebrate Recovery honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. Because of their sacrifice, we can gather, worship, heal, and walk in freedom today.

As we celebrate recovery and restoration, we also pause to remember the cost of liberty and the families who continue carrying both pride and loss every day.

Today, we pray for peace over grieving hearts, strength for Gold Star families, and gratitude within our own hearts for those who laid down their lives for others.

May we never forget the fallen, never take freedom for granted, and continue walking in hope, healing, and purpose.

"“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wound.” — Psalm 147:3

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day from Celebrate Recovery.

🕊️ Celebrate Recovery Tonight 🕊️

There is a moment in every life when we realize we cannot fix ourselves, carry it alone, or outrun what is hurting us. 💔

But healing begins when we step into truth, honesty, and surrender before God. ✝️

Tonight is an invitation not to perfection, but to freedom.

Come as you are. You don't have to have it all together to begin again. God meets people right where they are, and He still restores lives. 💛

Addiction doesn’t take everything all at once—it takes a little at a time, until there feels like nothing is left. 💔

But God meets us right there in the broken places. ✝️

Recovery is where the slow taking stops and the rebuilding begins. Piece by piece, God restores what was lost, renews what was broken, and brings life back where there was emptiness. 💛

You are not too far gone. You are being restored.
