On Sunday, Father Jack reminded us that accountability and reconcilliation go hand in hand; that Jesus' ultimate goal in conflict was reconciliation.

"Jesus wants to show us all the way back. A way that calls us out of the shadows of shame with the promise of forgiveness. A way that frees us to try again without carrying the baggage from the past. A way that gives us the grace to actually change."

"This life of grace begins through the waters of baptism."

This week, let Jesus' teachings from chapter 18 in Matthew's Gospel inform the ways in which you deal with conflict. Use Rev. Jack's sermon as a journal prompt or daily commute reflection -- how can we live into our Baptismal vows this week?

10:30am: Holy Eucharist Rite II: A lively worship service with choir and music from our Organist & Choirmaster, Mike Sparks, nursery and children's chapel offerings

Breakfast will begin at 8:45am, nursery opens at 10:15am.

And this Sunday, we have Casual Church. Join us for Holy Eucharist, Rite II, in a more casual setting — with folk tunes and lots of love. 5:00pm in our Parish Hall.

Our Faith & Fellowship groups have launched!!

Faith and Fellowship groups are intergenerational small groups organized around shared interests.

Whether you love the outdoors, reading a good book, or learning how to play a new game, these groups are a chance to grow in faith alongside people who share your passions.

Most groups meet monthly, offering a low-pressure way to connect, build real friendships, and let your faith show up in the everyday things you love to do.

Yesterday, Father Jack helped us to reflect on what it means to move from merely seeing others, to truly encountering Christ in them.

Revist Rev. Jack's sermon by visiting our website or youtube page, and use this quote, "We don't have to know the whole story, we just need eyes to know Jesus in the other. Lord, give us those eyes," as a journal prompt for reflection.

1. Sunday school returns from summer break! Classes are available for all ages starting at 9:30am (between worship services). Breakfast also returns at 8:45 am in Ware Hall!

The adult forum will be an informational session in Ware Hall on all of our Worship and Educational opportunities this Fall.

2. Students & Teachers: don’t forget your backpacks! Receive a blessing during the 10:30 service, then visit Ashley in Terrill Foyer for a sweet momento to remind you of God’s love all school year long!

3. Sundae Sunday: stick around after church to make your own ice cream sundae and gather with your church family. 🫶🏼
