Well this post has been a month coming (my apologies ladies and gents)…

DCCW Convention, SLC 2026! 😁

Man oh man is this an experience! This year our Deanery was in charge of hosting the convention a lot of behind the scenes work went into making sure we had all we needed in order to welcome our fellow sisters of CCW across the state. Duties aside however, we still managed to have fun and take all the lovely information and knowledge shared to us by our presenters, and be united not only with our fellow parish members but with many lovely women across the state!

The convention is a time to get together now only with our parish sisters but to get to know other sisters in faith across the state, it’s a time of bonding, learning, praying and yes maybe even some dancing together 😉, it truly was such a great event to attend this year and we hope we get to bring more ladies along next year!

Today is the National Day of Prayer ‘Glorify God among the nations, seeking him in all generations.’ (1 Chronicles 16:24)

On this day, we pray for every unborn child, every mother facing crisis, and a nation that chooses life. Prayer moves mountains, it changes hearts, saves lives, and builds a future where every baby is welcomed.

Let’s flood Heaven with prayers today. Pray for the end of abortion, for healing after loss, and for courage to defend the innocent.

Comment ‘AMEN’ if you’re praying with us.

The CCW attended the last meeting before summer break. We had a guest speaker, Cara Murray from USU extension, she gave us helpful tips on how to cope with stress and we made essential oil sprays. We are thankful for all the Lord has provided us and always here to help our parish family when needed.

“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet, not as I will, but as you will.” — Matthew 26:39

Today we enter into the Passion of the Lord. From the Upper Room to Gethsemane, from betrayal to the cross, we witness the depth of Christ’s love.

Jesus does not resist the Father’s will. He embraces it, even when it leads to suffering. In His silence before His accusers, in His forgiveness from the cross, we see love poured out completely.

Holy Week invites us to walk with Him. To remain near in prayer. To trust that even in darkness, God’s plan of salvation is unfolding.

🙏 Lord, give us the courage to follow You through the cross, trusting in the promise of the Resurrection.

Hey everyone! We still need volunteers to help us get started these first couple of weeks! Since we don't have paid staff, our VOLUNTEERS ARE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to help us function!

There are four options for service every day, and you can sign up for whatever shifts work for you! Even if you can help once or twice a month, it all helps us run the shelter.

Check us out on Bloomerang Volunteer and sign up for some shifts! And THANK YOU for all of your support!

The Epiphany of the Lord

The Feast of the Epiphany celebrates the moment Christ was revealed to the world—not only to Israel, but to all nations. Guided by the light of a star, the Magi set out on a journey of faith, trusting that God was leading them toward something far greater than they could imagine.

Their pilgrimage reminds us that God often draws us forward step by step, asking for trust before clarity. The Magi did not know the full path ahead, yet they followed the light placed before them. When they arrived, they encountered not power or splendor, but the humble presence of Christ.

Epiphany invites us to pause and recognize the quiet ways Christ continues to reveal Himself today—in prayer, in service, and in acts of love that reflect His mercy. As Sisters of Charity, we are called to carry that light outward, making Christ known through humble service, self-gift, and faithful love offered each day.

May this feast renew our hearts, strengthen our trust in God’s guidance, and deepen our desire to live as witnesses of His light in the world.
