The church is called to reflect the heart of Christ.

That means caring for those in need, showing compassion, and serving others. But we must never neglect the greatest need every person has—to hear the gospel and be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.

May our lives be marked by Christlikeness, meeting physical needs while always pointing people to the hope of the gospel.

As believers, we are not the main character of our story—Christ is. Our lives are to make much of him, not ourselves.

We have to ask ourselves: Is our identity in Christ shaping how we live?

Living in our identity in Christ should lead us to proclaim who he is and what he has done.

Everything we have is a gift from God.

The believers in Acts 2 gave generously because they understood what they had first received. Their possessions weren't ultimately their own—they belonged to God, and they joyfully used them to meet the needs of others.

Generosity begins with remembering what Christ has done for us. Holding everything we have with open hands becomes an act of worship.

We have all that we need in Christ, but for our Christ-likeness to manifest in our lives, we must grow in our knowledge of him.

We are invited to draw near to Christ to be equipped for life and godliness through knowing him (2 Peter 1:3).

As those growing up into our salvation, communing with God through his Word is not optional, but the essential catalyst for reflecting Christ and doing his will.
