Congratulations to our 2026 Valders High School Graduates: Peter Cigler, Makenna Kaderabek, Donald (DJ) Schisel, Addison Spindler, Sage Trepasso, Whitney Ulness and Carter Valleskey. Loving God, we thank you for these graduates and for the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that brought them to this joyful day. Pantry Needs for June 20: canned meals, brown beans (no other beans), canned fruit, powdered sugar, sugar, flour, assorted chocolate chips, Hispanic foods, bagged noodles, dried milk, tomato products (stewed or whole), canned spaghetti sauce, toilet paper, paper towels, window cleaner, dust spray, wall cleaner (409), medium-size sanitary napkins, and facial tissue.

Are you looking for a way to support Vacation Bible School?
Below is a list of some of the items that we will need. If you are able to make a donation, please place outside the Youth Coordinator’s office no later than Sunday, June 7th. If you bring in something that needs refrigeration, please put in fridge in gathering space and mark "VBS". We appreciate all the support!
-Plastic tablecloths (green, dark and light blue, brown)
-Red, Yellow, & Orange tissue paper
-Tiki torches (6-8)
-Snack items: blue & green Jell-o, bags of cuties, sugar cookie dough, mini M&M's, chocolate and vanilla frosting, pull 'n peel red licorice, Chex cereal, chocolate chips, banana chips, mini pretzel twists, nacho cheese, juice pouches, bottled water, Gatorade /soda or other special treats for our volunteers.

Our 7th & 8th grade Confirmation classes wrapped up the year on Wednesday night with a bit of relaxation and pizza! The next time they are all back together will be in July as they spend a week at Crossways Camp @ Imago Dei Village. This special week long Confirmation Camp is sure to grow a deeper faith in the hearts of our youth✝️

💐Our Sunday School children sang “Leaning On The Everlasting Arms” and during the Children’s sermon they were reminded that they can also lean on other women in their lives, especially Moms💐 Happy Mother’s Day to all the strong, beautiful women who make us who we are!💞

Youth Service 2026 was a success! Our 7th & 8th grade Confirmation classes and their teachers put together an amazing service! Thank you to everyone who celebrated with our Youth! We are so proud of the work they did to make last week’s services meaningful!

Another year in the books… Nerf & Nachos to celebrate an end to the Mentor Confirmation Year. These mentors fought hard but in the end the students won the battle!

Mark your calendars for the following events and activities happening at Faith Lutheran Church. These dates highlight opportunities for worship, fellowship, and faith-building throughout the spring and summer.
• April 22 & April 26: Youth led worship services. Celebrate and
support our young leaders as they guide us in worship on these
special days.
• May 1: Valders Rummage Sale at Faith. Participate in this
community event to declutter, connect, and support the church’s
youth.
• May 10: Mother’s Day – Sunday School Choir sings. Enjoy a
special performance from our Sunday School Choir as we honor
mothers.
• May 17: Confirmation Sunday. Join us as we celebrate the
confirmation of our youth and their continued journey of faith.
• May 24: Pentecost. Commemorate Pentecost by wearing red to
worship and joining in this meaningful tradition.
• May 31: Valders High School Baccalaureate Service. Support our
graduating seniors at this significant milestone.
• June 15-19: Vacation Bible School. Children are invited to take
part in a week of faith, fun, and learning.
• July 5-10: Confirmation Camp. Youth are encouraged to attend
this camp for spiritual growth and fellowship.

April Stewardship Project: Baptism Quilts
1½ yards of baby-appropriate cotton material for both the top and bottom of the quilt (baby flannel can also be used). 1½ yards of batting, either cotton or low loft. Alternatively, a crib-size batting (45x60 inches) in a bag is suitable. If you have material items to contribute, please place them in the Stewardship Cabinet located across from the office.

Church Yard Cleanup Day: The annual church yard cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, beginning at 9:00 AM. All members and friends are encouraged to join the effort to help beautify the church grounds. Your participation makes a difference—many hands make light work!
