The Refuge

The Refuge The Refuge exists for the purpose of glorifying our heavenly Father through our love, service, and devotion to Him. Why did Jesus come? He came to save lives.

Dads, moms, kids, professionals, criminals, drunks, addicts, homosexuals, Jesus laid down His life for all. And we believe that God, in His mercy, saved us from the consequences of sin and invited us - and many others - to join Him in the work. This is why The Refuge exists. We are sinners enjoying God’s mercy and forgiveness. Committed to loving others in Jesus’ name in the City of Vacaville and

surrounding areas. The way that Jesus works in any city is through the salvation of lost people (like us) who gather together to worship Him and serve their city. The result is, new people are reached, new places to worship and gather are established in new areas of the city, and lives continue to be changed. The Refuge is just one of many great churches in the Vacaville area participating in the work of God. But there are thousands upon thousands of people loved by God who are unreached. Our heart is to reach out to them, to share the love of God and bring them to a place of refuge; a place where they can be loved and grow in their relationship with God under the shadow of His wings (Psalm 91:1-2). Our Story

The Refuge is all about God and connecting Him with people. It begins with a vision and a passion to see people saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped, empowered, and serving. All that we do revolves around these 7 things. It all starts with our weekend service. Church is so much more than just a Sunday service. It’s about connecting people through worship and the Word, helping people grow in their faith in Jesus Christ, and building a strong foundation in their families. This connection on Sunday carries throughout the week in small groups and outreach. Our hope and prayer is you would find Real Refuge from the storms of life and that you would grow closer in your relationship with Jesus.
