The service for Brother Dewey Cope will be at the Wheatland Community Church on Friday, October 13th at Noon. He was a lifetime member of the Churches of God, and served as assistant pastor at our church. He will be greatly missed. His zeal for the Lord, joy in sharing the scriptures with others, and deep bass voice encouraged and uplifted many. His testimony would bring tears to your eyes, and strengthen your faith in the Lord. Even when his health would begin to fail, he made every effort to attend church. He was our Brother in Christ, a Man of God, Preacher, Husband, Son, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, and friend to everyone. He will be greatly missed, but we have joy in knowing that he is a Child of the King.
