It was a genuine privilege to return to Susquehanna Valley Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, this past weekend with Pastor Brandon Starnes. The Lord clearly worked through Saturday’s Youth Rally and throughout the day on Sunday. We thank the Lord for the decisions made during these services and rejoice in God's ongoing work in and through this local church.

It was a great blessing to preach at Mount Vernon Baptist Temple in Howard, Ohio last Sunday. God is moving here, and it was exciting to see such a passion for His work and a clear vision for the future.

We just wrapped up a wonderful summer of camps and retreats by sharing God's Word at a Young Adult Retreat at Servant's Heart Camp in Pennsylvania. It was truly a joy to invest in these young lives through preaching, breakout sessions, and Q&A. What a privilege to serve our Lord alongside ‘Mrs. Katie’.

Over the past two weeks, we have experienced the joy of preaching at youth camps hosted by Servant's Heart Camp in Ramey, Pennsylvania. During this time, several young people have trusted Christ, many have experienced victories over sin and self, and others have wholeheartedly surrendered their lives to God's guidance.

Although more than 90% of our year focuses on Revival Meetings, there’s a unique excitement in preaching at various youth camps and retreats each summer. Young people are not the church of tomorrow; they are the church today!

“That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:” (Psalm 144:12)

On our way to preach at youth camps in Pennsylvania for several weeks, we spent the weekend with Faith Baptist Church in Seneca. It was a great privilege to preach, see two people join the church, and witness five obey the Lord through baptism. God is working powerfully here and expanding His work.

God's goodness shines through! Last week, the Lord blessed us through a friend with a generous supply of all kinds of meat, completely filling our freezer. Also, through a church we were at recently, He provided new front tires for our truck, meeting a vital need. Truly, His blessings are abundant!

“Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” (Matthew 6:8)

Recent news has highlighted prominent preachers whose sins have severely harmed the cause of Christ. While this is upsetting and discouraging, we should remember two powerful Bible truths that can change how we view these situations.

First, none of us are immune to temptation! As 1 Corinthians 10:12 warns, "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." Sin should alarm us, but the key to overcoming it is to cling tightly to the Savior. We need to stay in His Word, constantly seek His cleansing, and be openly accountable before others.

Second, God remains at work! As 2 Timothy 2:9 reminds us, "Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.” Human failure does not diminish God’s faithfulness. He is actively transforming hearts and calling more to serve Him. Just this week, we had the joy of preaching at a teen camp filled with victories and decisions to follow Jesus.

Let’s fix our eyes on Him, His Word, and His incredible work.

Last Sunday was such a wonderful blessing to be at our sending church, Grace Baptist Church in Urbana, Ohio. Being with our church family and listening to my Pastor preach God’s Word truly refreshed our hearts and filled us with joy. It was so encouraging to see how the Lord continues to work here.

It was wonderful to preach again at Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas, this time celebrating “Patriotic Sunday.” The entire weekend was truly uplifting, and we sensed the Lord’s presence in a special way. We are sincerely grateful for the dear friendship of Pastor and Mrs. Bob Parker and for the kindness shown to our family by this church.
