I rested. I prayed. I listened. I healed. I dreamed. And now, I’m returning refreshed, refocused, and ready to work!

I’m deeply grateful to serve a church and leadership that understand the value of rest. These past two years have been filled with building, growing, and laying a strong foundation, but the work is far from finished. This next chapter requires greater vision, deeper faith, and renewed energy.

Urbana Friends Church, your pastor is back! There are people to love, lives to connect, disciples to grow, and a community to reach.

WITH A GRATEFUL HEART, I’M RETURNING! 🙌🏾

I am truly honored to serve a church that understands the importance of rest, renewal, and restoration. For the past two years, we have prayed, served, sacrificed, and built together. Yet, I believe our greatest work is still ahead of us!

Thank you to the leadership and members of Urbana Friends Church for your love, support, and grace during my sabbatical. I am returning refreshed, refocused, and ready to continue the work God has entrusted to us!

There is something special about a church that doesn’t wait for a holiday to celebrate fellowship. ❤️

Last Sunday, July 19, 2026, our Urbana Friends Church family gathered around the table for another incredible potluck, and what a blessing it was! Great food, genuine conversations, laughter, and the kind of love that reminds you the Church is more than a building. It’s family.

I count it a privilege to pastor a church full of people who faithfully show up, welcome others, and make every Sunday feel like home. To everyone who walks through our doors, whether you’ve been here for years or it’s your very first visit, thank you for being part of what God is doing.

If you don’t have a church home or you’re simply looking for a place where you’ll be loved, come pull up on us this Sunday. You never know what God has in store for your life.

At Urbana Friends Church, we believe every person has a place to belong.

This Sunday, we had the joy of officially welcoming Gage and Destiny Kronk into our church family by presenting them with their Membership Certificates. What a privilege it is to walk alongside this incredible family as they continue to grow in their faith.

We’re especially encouraged by the love, care, and Christ-centered example they’re setting as they raise their daughter, Audrey. Families like theirs are a reminder that God is still building strong homes and strengthening His Church.

Gage and Destiny, thank you for being part of the Urbana Friends Church family. We love you, we’re praying for you, and we’re excited to see all that God has in store for your family.

There’s no doubt in my mind—God’s hand is on this little country church in Urbana, Ohio. 🙌🏽

In a time when churches often make headlines for the wrong reasons, let me remind you of something: there are still churches that genuinely love people, preach the truth of God’s Word, and represent Jesus with integrity.

At Urbana Friends Church, we’re not perfect people, but we serve a perfect Savior. We believe in loving without conditions, connecting with purpose, growing in Christ, and going into our community with the Gospel.
