He reminds us that we have a loving Father who is always with us, always mindful of our needs, always willing to grant us His peace & His joy. My friends, Jesus did not tell his disciples that they would not have problems. In fact, their problems would dwarf most of our problems. What He did promise them was peace of mind. He would send upon them the gift of the Holy Spirit to give them courage and comfort. And that is the same promise Christ offers us today. Be at peace.

7th Sunday of Easter

Friends, you would think somedays that we must look unworthy to God. But not so. When God looks at us, God sees something beautiful and worthwhile, something worth giving His only Son for. That is how we need to look at the world for whom Christ died.
God loves us even' There is rejoicing in heaven whenever one who has been lost is found. Because we were lost before God found us, we need to regard everyone else as precious souls for whom Christ died as well.
