Catholic Ladies of Columbia # 86

Catholic Ladies of Columbia # 86 Council 86 meets the first Wednesday of each month September through June at 7:30 p.m. At the K of C hall. December and May meetings are at 6 p.m.

Our motto is Faith, Hope, Charity and Friendship. We take each word seriously
and we take part in Join Hands Day, as well as Make A Difference Day. We raise
money to help our Catholic Schools. Every year we raise money to help a family or
person in need. Our CLC Home Office matches the funds. We mix pleasure with
business by hosting our annual Christmas Party and Girls Night Out in May. Every


year we take a 3 to 4 day bus trip. In 2012 we took 80 ladies to Chicago! More recently we have visited small towns with lots of charm and fun. In 2017 we will be visiting Geneva on the Lake Ohio.. See our page for more info and pictures of past trips.

Join us the CLC #86 to Pittsburg! Three nights at Springmill Suites. Visit St. Raphael Center; Rhoda Wise House; St Paul; St. Patrick; and attend mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary. Visit Duquense incline and sister of humility villa greenhouse and herb farm. August 4th thru 7th. $590 per person -double occupancy or $790 single room. The Knights of Columbus #2050 and Catholic Ladies of Columbia #86 presented St. Peter’s Catholic School with a check for $2,150.00 which was raised from a recent Purse Bingo that both organizations partnered together to raise money for St. Peters and OLC Schools!

Another CLC trip in the books! What a great time hanging with a few of my best friends! Covington, Louisville, Newport and Cincinnati! Louisville is one of my favorite towns! This was my 4th time to Churchill Downs and I love it more everytime I go.

Friday Night Feeds are back on, this Friday, the featured dish is bbq pork, shredded chicken and mac and cheese. Runor has it, there will be peach cobbler for dessert. On a sad note, we will be enjoying the last Friday with Kat being our favorite bartender. We need to show her our appreciation for her dedication to the Canteen.
