Union Pacific Bigboy Train visit to Tyrone

On July 8, 2026, the Bigboy train will travel pass Tyrone and the Tyrone Area Historical Society Museum at approximately 4:00 pm. There is NO parking available at the museum, so please utilize one of the parking areas on the map. Parking is $20 per car and includes the price of the shuttle to and from the viewing area. There is NO camping on the Railroad Park grounds. Please NO tents or canopies at the viewing area as space is very limited. A clear bag policy will be enforced. Food Trucks, Vendors and Porta potties will be within walking distance of the tracks. No drones within 200 feet of the train and everyone must maintain a distance of 25 feet from the tracks. Public safety is of utmost importance.
The Historical Society Museum will be open from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on the 8th with a cost of $5 for anyone over the age of 12. There will be NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Depending on the crowd, the museum may reopen after the train has left the area.

The plan for the day is to be safe and enjoy this once in a lifetime event.
