TRAFFIC ALERT TO THE PUBLIC

On Monday, December 12, 2022 the following roads will be closed from 8:00 AM until approximately 4:00 PM:

***Adams Ave from W 16th Street to W 19th Street.
***500 Block of W 18th Street (between Adams Ave & Hamilton Ave)

There also will be NO PARKING on these streets that are closed. Residents should move their vehicles by 8:00 AM on Monday, December 12, 2022. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. Note: The school buses will be permitted through after school and bus stops will remain the same.

The public is ask to avoid the area and use an alternate route of travel. Expect heavy traffic congestion in the area of The Church of the Brethren while the family, friends and colleagues morn the loss of Trooper Joseph Lee Miller.

Trooper Miller was a 1996 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and a Tyrone resident. Trooper Miller was stationed at Troop G, Huntingdon Barracks.

TPD would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Trooper Joe Miller.
