St-Johns Sinking Valley Welcome to St. John's Sinking Valley! We invite you to join us, Sunday Mornings at 9:30am (in person or via FB Live). Our worship services are led by Drew Baker.

Here you will find a growing congregation who desires to see lives changed and transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us for worship every Sunday starting at 9:30am. As part of our service to the community, St. John has a Good Samaritan Fund which regularly gives to people in need for a variety of reasons. We also provide "We Care Meals" twice per month. Thes

e are free meals for people in the community on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Some recipients are elderly, young, home bound, recovering from illness, or just could use a good meal and a smiling face delivering the meal. Directions from Huntingdon:
Rt. 22 West to Water Street- St. take 453 North for 4 miles. Turn left to Arch Springs (Windy Hill Furniture will be on your left after turn). Proceed 2 miles then turn left onto Kettle Road. Go 4 miles and turn right onto Golf Course Road. Proceed 100 yards then turn right on Stevens Hill Road. Stay on road 1 mile - Church is on your right. Directions from Tyrone:
Rt. 453 South for 2 miles then right turn onto Silver Barn Road. Travel app 5 miles to cross roads. Go straight at cross road onto Burke Road. Follow road until you get to a "T" and turn right onto Morrow Road. Follow road for 1.5 miles. The church is on the left. Directions from Altoona:
I99 North to exit 41- Take Skelp Mountain Road (over the mountain). Then right turn onto Golf Course Road. Travel 1/2 mile to stop sign. Go straight onto Crawford Road. Follow road to Morrow Road. Turn right- church on left.

While this weekend has been full of remembering great saints of our church between 2 funerals for 3 different members of our congregation, today brought great joy as we had a morning fellowship breakfast and outdoor worship.
Part of the joy of outdoor worship today was celebrating in the baptism and public declaration of faith by 6 of our members.
We praise God for all He continues to do at St. John's.
