Thank you anonymous donors! We couldn’t do this without you! ♥️
As we are in full summer time mode, we are seeing more and more friends on Saturdays! This means more water, more supplies needed! We do have a monthly budget for supplies, but sometimes that means having to choose between much needed items to stay within budget.
If you would be interested in helping out with any supplies, our biggest current needs are women’s underwear (specifically sizes S, M and L), adult body wipes, short socks for men and women, and bug spray! Our Amazon wishlist is below! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

“For those blessed with good fathers, thank God for them.
But even the best father was only ever a reflection. Don’t stop at the gift. Follow the gift back to the Giver.”
This was just a small part of the message brought by Edgar yesterday. What a moving and timely word!

Our worship was brought by Toni Petty, always so beautiful!

We had a group of young women from New Creation’s Bethel House in Troup led by Shelbi…such a great bunch of loving hearts!

Central Tyler sponsored our meal—what a blessing they have been for Hunger For Love!

Sarvia and AB and friends from Church of the Pines had their serve day and brought our sack lunches! We are so thankful for their ministry!

And last but definitely not least, the UT Tyler SNPHA and school of nursing students showed up in force and served our friends with health and wellness checks…we were even able to get one of our friends a much needed prescription for blood pressure meds (thanks to YOUR benevolence fund donations)!

It was so wonderful to see and serve with friends old and new…God has been so faithful and continues to bless this ministry! What a good, good Father we have in Him!

Happy Father’s Day, friends!

On occasion there are Saturdays when we can’t get into the kitchen at church to cook (weddings, baptisms, etc), and this morning was one of those days! Enter—sweet Tammy Hayes wearing her Superhero cape! Tammy is the mom of one of the boys that started Hunger For Love 15 years ago! She so very graciously let our cook team in her commercial kitchen to prepare today’s meal! We are so thankful for you, Tammy!
Y’all go check out her grab-n-go at Tamfooderie! 🤤 So much deliciousness! ♥️

This has happened several times in the last 15 years…and it still gets to me. Every. Single. Time.
One of our friends was getting coffee and he said “I would like to make a donation.”
Oh my heart…
Thank you, friend! This means more than you will ever realize! ♥️

A little late posting here, but oh SO thankful for all that made Saturday such a great day!
It was Marvin Methodist’s serve day and they are always such a wonderful and caring group to serve our friends! And—they provided our sack lunches to go! 🙌🙌🙌
Word and worship were brought by Clayton and Tawnya and she even had a small group of friends serving from The Point Church Tyler!
New Life Worship Center provided delicious Sonic breakfast meals for everyone! Yummy and Yay!!!
What a beautiful morning of loving our neighbors! God truly provides! ♥️

Hey friends! I just want to give a huge shout of thanks to this sweet boy and his family!
Joshua Villa and his parents collected 119 bags of food from their clients at The Cleaning Authority to donate to those we serve on Saturday mornings—WOW! That’s an estimated total of 635 pounds of food! 🤯
This is how community works and just goes to show you with a little determination and huge hearts for others, anything can be accomplished! What a blessing they are to our friends!
Thank you, David and Erika, for leading by example and thank you to all the clients of The Cleaning Authority!
God is SO good! ♥️

Yesterday we had the pleasure of serving with these sweet souls from the Eagles Bluff Ladies Bible Study! They have the most precious hearts for our friends, and they provided sack lunches for all! And…they were our Meal Sponsor! 🤩 Thank you, Heidi F., for coordinating (we sure did miss you, Julie 🙏🏼)!
Bro. Purdy and his group brought Word and worship—thank you all for your faithfulness!
We’ve got a fellow that has moved off the streets as of yesterday—please keep him in your prayers as he navigates upward and onward!
God is so good! ♥️

So thankful for churches that partner with us and invite us to share about Hunger For Love! We appreciate the leaders for teaching the young ones about serving and community! A culture of discipleship and a culture of serving…💥! Thank you, Life Source!
