🍳 BREAKFAST + FELLOWSHIP + OUTREACH! 🙌

Join us Saturday, October 3rd at 8:00 AM at Happy’s Fish House for breakfast and fellowship! Men AND women are invited! ❤️

After breakfast, we’re heading to the neighborhoods around Bergfeld Park to pass out flyers and invite our community to CHURCH IN THE PARK on Sunday, October 4th! 🌳⛪️

Come eat with us, walk with us, and help us spread the word! You never know what one simple invitation could mean to someone. 🙏

Be the church. Love our community. Invite somebody to Jesus. ❤️

🏈 FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL IN EAST TEXAS! 🏈

Pastor Jason sure was proud to see that Van Vandal Paul Snipes traded in his Vandal RED ❤️ for some Canton Eagle GREEN 💚 last Friday night at the Tomato Bowl! 😂🙌

And apparently the green worked… CANTON GOT THE WIN OVER JACKSONVILLE! 🦅💚🏈

Tonight, we’re praying for ALL of our East Texas high school players, coaches, families, bands, cheerleaders, and communities as they travel and take the field representing their schools. 🙏

Play hard. Stay safe. Make memories. And above all, remember where our protection comes from!

GOD PUT SOMETHING IN YOU AND WE NEED IT!

God has placed gifts, talents, and passions inside each of us—not just for ourselves, but to help BUILD HIS KINGDOM. 🙌

We need YOU. Get plugged in! ❤️

Maybe it’s working with kids, greeting at the door, helping with worship, serving coffee, running sound or slides, helping with youth, or simply being willing to say, “Here I am, Lord. Use me.”

🎸 Today we want to give a special shoutout to Ms. Lindy! ❤️

Every Sunday morning, Ms. Lindy faithfully grabs her guitar and helps lead us in worship as part of Three Strands. We are so thankful for her heart, her talent, and the joy she brings to Gospel Church each week! 🎶🙌

This week, Ms. Lindy will be having knee replacement surgery, and we’re asking our church family to cover her in prayer. 🙏 Pray for a successful surgery, peace throughout the process, and a smooth and speedy recovery!

We sure are going to miss seeing you up there strumming that guitar while you’re out, Ms. Lindy — but we’ll be cheering you on and praying for you every step of the way! ❤️

🕊️ IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR BROTHER IN CHRIST, GERALD BELL 🕊️

Today, our hearts are heavy as we recognize and remember our brother in Christ, Gerald Bell. We just learned of his passing, and our Gospel Church family is deeply saddened by this loss.

Gerald faced obstacles along his journey, but he knew where his strength came from. Today, we hold tightly to the promises of the same God Gerald loved and worshiped.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” — Philippians 4:13

While we grieve here on earth, we also rejoice knowing that for a believer, death is not the end.

“To be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 5:8

And Jesus gave us this beautiful promise of what is waiting:

“In my Father’s house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you.” — John 14:2

Can you just imagine the WORSHIP PARTY Gerald is having in Heaven right now?! 🙌❤️ No more struggles. No more obstacles. No more pain. Just standing in the presence of Jesus.

Please join us in praying for Gerald’s family, friends, and everyone who loved him during the days ahead.

Well done, Gerald. Until we meet again. ❤️🙏
