Our Story

Turlock Covenant Church began in 1902 by a group of Swedish immigrants coming to the central valley to begin a new life. They formed a church in which together they could grow in their faith and reach others with the hope they found in Jesus Christ.

In 2018, we began a conversation with New Hope Community church (a growing and vibrant church which needed more space to grow) about what it might look like to do ministry together. In June 2019, we formed HOPE CHURCH where together we can love God and neighbors with greater energy and purpose!

Hope Church is a part of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
