What if your life is not just a series of random events, but a pilgrimage with an eternal destination? In Genesis 47, Jacob stood before the most powerful man in the world & called his 130 years a "pilgrimage" — because he knew his life was headed somewhere that mattered far more than earthly success.

Just as Joseph's grace saved his entire family — not because they deserved it, but because of who Joseph was — so Jesus saves us. By one man's sacrifice, we receive what we could never earn. As Paul wrote in Romans 5:18, through one man's righteous act, the free gift came to all, resulting in justification of life.

Your life is not defined by wealth, prestige, or comfort. In Christ, your name is written in the Book of Life — & that makes you greater than anything this world has to offer.

Spiritual legacy is not built through lectures alone -- it is built through a life lived openly before those who are watching. Your family is observing more than you realize. What they see in you will outlast what they hear from you.

Christians should be well-informed about the times in which we live. In this series, we'll look at cultural movements in a broader context & analyze how they interact with the Judeo-Christian worldview.

What kind of legacy are you leaving behind? In Genesis 46, Jacob paused an entire family migration just to stop & worship God. That single act of devotion spoke louder than any words he could have offered his children & grandchildren.

God met Jacob at Beersheba with a powerful promise -- "Do not fear, I will go with you" (Genesis 46:3-4). That same faithful God who guided Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob is still building something eternal through ordinary, imperfect people today.

A spiritual legacy is not built through perfect living. It is built through genuine faith, obedience to God's Word, family worship, & intentional discipleship. Your children are watching -- & what they see in you will shape what they believe about God.

You may be living through a chapter of your life that feels like a dungeon. The circumstances may look like defeat. But God is not absent. He is not surprised. He is working all things according to the counsel of His will.

What if the worst thing that ever happened to you was actually part of God's plan all along? In Genesis 45, Joseph reveals himself to the brothers who betrayed him -- & instead of revenge, he offers grace. "It was not you who sent me here, but God."

Joseph's story is a powerful reminder that God works all things together for good, even through betrayal, suffering, & injustice. His providence is always moving, even when we cannot see it.

Joseph's reunion with his brothers points forward to something even greater -- the day Jesus will be fully revealed to this world as King of kings, returning in glory & power.

“Take me instead.” Judah offered himself as a slave so Benjamin could go free. Centuries later, Jesus did the same for all of us — not as a slave, but as a sacrifice. He went to the cross so we could live. What a Savior.
