Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, honoring the resilient spirit of those who fought for freedom and celebrating the enduring legacy of faith, perseverance, and determination that continues to inspire us.

As we reflect on this important day, we remember that Spring Hill M.B. Church was founded by two former slaves whose unwavering faith and vision laid a foundation that still stands today. Their legacy serves as a powerful reminder of the blessings of freedom, the strength of community, and the importance of gratitude.

What a wonderful day at Spring Hill M.B. Church as we celebrated both Children’s Day and Juneteenth! ❤️💚💛🖤

We thank God for our children and youth and for the opportunity to honor the legacy of freedom, faith, and perseverance.

A special thank you to Sharmanice Bradley and Icy Sweets for the snow cones and also Jackie Meardith and the young men for bringing the horses, you all helped make today special!
