UNLimited is growing and we need more volunteers! Whether you have worked with children with special needs or not....WE NEED YOU!

We will provide training. All you need is a willing heart! Those who volunteer find that their lives are blessed by the children UNLimited serves. We always have a minimum of two adults at any event so no one is ever alone. Right now we are pairing new volunteers with a seasoned volunteer to help them meet our students and learn how to provide the best practice activities.

HBC has two new assistants to the teachers during the Sunday School hour. Hayley is helping with a second grade class and Hadley assists with the fifth grade boys’ class. We are so proud of these young people as they share their talents with others!

Our UNLIMITED ministry provides a spectrum of supports for young children through teens. Those who are able to attend the age appropriate class but just need a little support have an adult “shadow” assigned to assist them during the Sunday School hour. These students then attend the worship services with their families.

For students who may have sensory or other issues that preclude them from being successful in a large class environment, HBC has volunteers who provide supervision during the 8:30 am worship hour.

A Sunday School class is taught by Russ and Kathy Lamb in Room where learning differences are celebrated and the love ofJesus is shared.

HBC is presently in the process of developing a special sensory room adjacent to this classroom. There are plans to expand services to include Sunday and Wednesday nights. We need more volunteers!!! We need YOU!

HBC has a brand new class on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour at 9:45 a.m.

If you know of any young women who have graduated from high school and older with learning differences that could benefit from an inclusion experience.... we would love to have you! The class meets in the pre-k wing and splits time between Bible study and learning to minister to others through puppetry. Each month the class will perform for some of the pre-k children and others. The class is taught by Nancy Leigh McDade.

Today at 10:00 a.m. Bring your Easter Baskets!

From Jesus’ prayer in the garden to the empty tomb on Sunday, your kid will learn about the Easter story that they can easily remember every time they play with LEGO bricks. Ultimately, kids will learn how Jesus saved us from sin. A newly remodeled Easter event for families!

Saturday, April 8th | 10 - 11:00 a.m.
HBC Fellowship Hall

The Boss (John Hunter Mitchell) and Benny (J.B. Long)
will teach your kids the Easter story using Legos.

Drama, Music, Snacks,
Easter Egg Hunt, and LEGOs.

We would love to welcome your child with special needs to our church family. We provide a Special Needs Sunday School class for those who need individualized care and curriculum, as well as "Buddies" to assist children who prefer to attend one of our age-graded classes.
