Peter's failure wasn't the end of his story.

Jesus didn’t simply forgive Peter. He restored him and continued to use him for the mission He had given him.

The same gospel that restored Peter is still changing lives today. When we encounter Christ and walk in obedience to Him, our lives should look different.

Peter went from boldly promising that he would follow Jesus anywhere, to denying that he even knew Him.

But Peter’s story didn’t end with his failure.

Peter was forgiven, restored, and ultimately used by God in ways he could never have accomplished on his own.

Our failures do not have to be the end of our story either. Restoration isn’t found in trying harder, proving ourselves worthy, or fixing everything on our own.

It is found in Jesus.
