Since our beginning in the mid-1800’s, the people of Northmoreland Baptist Church have sought to glorify God, share the gospel, encourage each other and reach the world for Christ. Whether you are just starting out, or you have known the Lord for many years, we invite you to come join our family as we continue together in this mission. Our church family lives in various places: Clarks Summit, Dallas, Falls, Forty-Fort, Harvey’s Lake, Noxen, Lake Winola, Plains, and Tunkhannock and others. We are united for the glory of God to announce the Gospel, to advance the church, and to build up the family of believers.

Come and learn about the artistry of the Old Testament narratives that still speak to us today. Dr. Mark McGinniss will guide us through the structural components and narrative devices. Mark was a professor of Old Testament literature, language, and exegesis at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. The deadline for registration is September 7th! nmbaptist.com. The greatest gift you can give your kids is the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We can help with Olympians and Gopher clubs. The Clubs begin Sunday, September 13, from 6:00 to 7:30pm. Our goal is to teach kids what God says about kindness, making good decisions, loving others, and teaching them the significance of the Lord Jesus Christ for their lives. They will be able to learn in a fun and safe place. The club runs from September through the first week of May. nmbaptist.com

Jonathan and Angela Stone, church planters in Lima, Peru, with the Familia New Life (bilingual) church plant, will be in the morning service this Sunday, July 26. Jon's primary ministry is teaching and serving as president of Seminario Teológico Bautista (Baptist Theological Seminary), where about 190 students from 16 different countries are being trained. Angela is a nurse practitioner and serves in medical ministries both for evangelism and to support missionaries on the field. Their vision is to see Peru become the epicenter of a world missions movement by 2050!
