Where’s Pastor Lynn? Tonight was a candlelight vigil for the victims of the shootings early Monday. She joined Bishop Carlo, our DS, and numerous other UMC pastors, standing with other faith leaders saying no more violence and hatred, and you don’t have to do life alone. What a wonderful Family Worship Sunday! We celebrated our amazing children & youth ministries, presented our 3rd graders with new Bibles, and blessed the Bibles our confirmation students will be using all year. Thank you for helping kids of all ages & stages step into ministry at St. Mark’s! Now, where will YOU step boldly?

This past Saturday, we were excited to present the Golden Peanut Butter Jar to our 2026 winners, St. Mark's UMC, Tucson!

The St. Mark’s congregation donated an incredible 3,447 pounds of peanut butter to support ICS Food Banks!

We also want to give a HUGE thank-you to everyone in our community who helped make this year’s a success, collectively donating more than 15,000 pounds of peanut butter to help our neighbors in need. 💛

We did it again! It’s always fun to win, but the real prize is knowing our neighbors will be fed! Thank you to everyone who donated peanut butter and thank you to ICS for all they do!

Thanks to everyone who donated peanut butter throughout July; more than 15,000 pounds have been collected to date, equivalent to approximately 15,000 jars and counting. Your generosity will help provide a nutritious source of protein to thousands of people in our community.
