Christ Community Church

Christ Community Church Purpose of CCC is to glorify God through teaching, modeling and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ We're on a journey of following Jesus Christ together.

We strive for and envision a strong, loving, Bible-based, Christ-centered, Gospel-focused, Spirit-empowered, grace-filled, worshipping community of believers who have a healthy and growing relationship with God and each other. Together, our mission is to boldly share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God. Our desire is to see our Biblical

ly-based mission, core practices, and core values lived out in the life of each person at Christ Community Church. A church that lives the Great Commandment (loving God and loving people, Matt. 22:37-40) and follows the Great Commission (making disciples of all nations, Matt. 28:19-20) makes a great Church!

This Sunday in our Habits of Grace series we're going to be looking at the spiritual habit of silence and solitude. You know people today -- almost all of us -- feel so busy and tired and hounded by the tyranny of the urgent, it's like we need this spiritual habit of silence and solitude more than ever before. And did you know that Jesus Christ actually models for us more than anyone else in scripture this discipline of silence and solitude? And if Jesus practiced this habit, so should we. We're going to take a look at it together this Sunday.

We're so excited to introduce this new song on Sunday morning! Give it a listen today so you can help us sing on Sunday!

Hello Christ Community Church. I am so excited to open the word of God with you on Sunday. We're going through Matthew chapter 6 on the parts that talk about prayer and fasting. We're continuing the series on habits of grace and looking at everyday spiritual disciplines that can benefit your life as a believer. And so we'll look at the personal discipline or the personal habit of prayer and fasting and the gift it can be to you, to your family and to our church. So please come ready and expectant for how God will meet us in His grace of meeting together. See you on Sunday.

This Sunday, we're diving into Psalm 119 to ask an ancient but urgent question. How can a young person keep their way pure? In our modern culture, we often think of purity as absolute moral perfection, which can leave us feeling disqualified and discouraged. But the original Hebrew actually means something far more powerful. It means a life that is clear, and undivided, single-source. It's the choice to live a single narrative life where who we are in private matches exactly who we are in public. The Psalmist's map for getting there isn't a rigid checklist of do's and don'ts. It's a whole body relationship with the Word of God. Join us this week as we step out of the exhausting double narratives of the world and anchor ourselves in what is real.
