A Friendly Reminder About Contacting Father Joseph

We are always happy to see parishioners greeting Father Joseph before and after Mass. Your kindness and fellowship are a wonderful part of our parish community. However, if you are requesting a parish service, we kindly ask that you contact the parish office rather than speaking with Father before or after Mass.

This includes requests for:
• Mass Intentions
• Visits to the sick or homebound
• House Blessings
• Funeral Arrangements
• Baptisms
• Marriage Preparation
• Appointments with Father

If you would like to invite Father to a family gathering, meal, or special event, please feel free to mention it to him, but kindly follow up with a phone call to the parish office.

Father carries a very full schedule and often travels between our churches. Before and after Mass, he is focused on preparing for liturgy, greeting parishioners, or traveling to his next assignment.

While he always wants to help, important requests can sometimes be forgotten in the busyness of the moment.

By contacting the parish office, we can schedule appointments, arrange Mass intentions, coordinate parish services, and ensure that your request is properly recorded. Father has access to his schedule and will return calls as needed.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to serve our parish community efficiently and help Father focus on both his pastoral responsibilities and your needs.

Thank you for you support and understanding.

Corpus Christi: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

What does it mean?

✝️ 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐔𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi, meaning “The Body of Christ,” is one of the most profound celebrations in the Catholic Church. It is a day set apart to honor the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist, not only as a doctrine but as a living mystery of faith.

✝️ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄

At the heart of Corpus Christi is the belief that the Eucharist is not a symbol, but the true Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ.

Through the words of consecration spoken at Mass: • bread becomes the Body of Christ
• wine becomes the Blood of Christ

This mystery is not understood by sight, but by faith, rooted in the words of Christ: “This is my body.”

✝️ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓

Corpus Christi draws our attention to the Last Supper, where Jesus instituted the Eucharist on the night before His Passion.

In giving His Body and Blood, Christ: • established the New Covenant
• offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice
• remained truly present with His Church

The Eucharist is therefore both sacrifice and sacrament, the memorial of Christ’s saving love.

✝️ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓

On Corpus Christi, the Church publicly adores Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, often through Eucharistic processions and Benediction.

This public witness proclaims that: • Christ is truly present among His people
• He is worthy of worship and adoration
• He walks with His Church in history

It is faith made visible through reverence and procession.

✝️ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃

The Body of Christ is not only adored, but received. In Holy Communion, the faithful are nourished by Christ Himself.

Through the Eucharist: • grace is strengthened in the soul
• unity with Christ is deepened
• the Church is built up as one body

It is the sacrament that sustains the life of the believer.

✝️ 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘

Corpus Christi reveals the center of Catholic faith: • Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist
• His sacrifice continues sacramentally in the Church
• He remains with His people as spiritual food and divine presence

To celebrate Corpus Christi is to renew faith in the living Christ who remains with His Church until the end of time.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus Novena begins tomorrow, June 3. Let us pray!!!

Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place all our intentions and trust in You! ❤️‍🔥

Do you know how to pray the novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus? It is so powerful!

Saint Padre Pio prayed the Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus every day for the intentions of those who requested his prayers.

Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, the saint most known for spreading devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, wrote this prayer.

During Padre Pio's life, this prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus was considered one of his "secret weapons," in which countless people testified to miracles that occurred through his prayers.

The faithful join in praying the Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus nine days before the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. (This solemnity is always 19 days after Pentecost.)

This year, the novena begins on June 3, 2026. However, it may be prayed at any time throughout the year.

Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

I. O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.” Behold, I knock, I seek, and ask for the grace of [insert your intention.]

Our Father…Hail Mary…Glory be to the Father…
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

II. O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in my name, He will give it to you.” Behold, in your name, I ask the Father for the grace of [insert your intention.]

Our Father…Hail Mary…Glory be to the Father…
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

III. O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away.” Encouraged by your infallible words I now ask for the grace of [insert your intention.]

Our Father…Hail Mary…Glory be to the Father…
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have pity on us miserable sinners, and grant us the grace which we ask of you, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, your tender mother and ours.

Conclude with the Hail, Holy Queen and add: Saint Joseph, foster father of Jesus, pray for us.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you! ❤️‍🔥

ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS TO BE RECITED EVERY DAY DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE. ❤️‍🔥

𝐀𝐂𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐉𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐒, 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐄 ❤️‍🔥

O JESUS, I consecrate to thee my heart; place it within thine own. It is in thy Heart I wish to dwell, through thy Heart I wish to love, and in thy Heart that I desire to repose, unknown to the world and known to thee alone; it is from this Heart of thine that I would draw that ardent love which should consume my own, and by which I shall find strength, light, courage, and true consolation. When I languish, it will animate me; when sad, it will give me joy; when afflicted and in trouble, it will encourage me.

O Heart of Jesus! let my heart be the altar of thy love, my tongue publish thy goodness, my eyes be unceasingly fixed on thy wounds, my mind meditate on thy adorable perfections, my memory preserve for ever the precious remembrance of thy mercies; let everything in me express my love for thee, O Jesus, and my heart be ever ready to make any sacrifice for thee.

O heart of Mary! after the Heart of Jesus the most loving, compassionate, and merciful of all hearts, present to the Heart of thy Son this my consecration, my love, my resolution. That Heart will be softened at the sight of my miseries, and deliver me from them; and after having been my protectress in this world, O Mother of Jesus! Be thou my queen in heaven.

𝐀 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐎𝐁𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐔𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 ❤️‍🔥

VIRGIN of purity! O Mother of holy love, who owest all thy greatness to humility; I have no just pretence wherewith to address myself to thee, yet I beg, through thy intercession, for grace to overcome my pride; this is thy enemy, and the enemy of thy divine Son, who, to destroy it, did not think it too much to abase his divinity so low as to unite himself to our nature, and die upon a cross.

Look down, then, O most merciful Mother, upon me a miserable sinner. Turn thine eyes of mercy towards me. That compassion which is so peculiar to thee in quality of our advocate and Mother, which was given thee by thy dying Son, will not permit thee to forsake me.

I then humbly beg of thee, that by virtue of these prerogatives thou wilt obtain for me the grace to extirpate all vain self-esteem and all love of praise and honor. Let my glory be to give all glory to Jesus, and to confess myself a sinner, and that all the good I possess by his grace is nothing compared to the greatness of his perfections.

Grant that these virtues which thou teachest me by thy example may be so practised by me that I may here-after, with thee, magnify eternally in heaven our Lord Jesus, and give him thanks for having looked down so mercifully on so miserable a soul as mine. Amen.

June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus—a devotion that reminds us of the immeasurable love Christ has for every human soul.

The origins of this devotion can be traced to the visions received by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque between 1673 and 1675. During these apparitions, Our Lord revealed His Sacred Heart, burning with love, crowned with thorns, and wounded by humanity's indifference. He invited the faithful to respond to that love through prayer, reparation, and trust in His mercy.

In one of these revelations, Jesus asked that the Friday after the Octave of Corpus Christi be dedicated to honoring His Sacred Heart. What began as a private revelation eventually spread throughout France before being extended to the entire Church by Pope Pius IX in 1856.

Today, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart remains one of the most beloved feasts of the liturgical year, reminding us that the Heart of Jesus is a refuge for sinners, a source of mercy, and a sign of God's enduring love for humanity.

As we begin this month dedicated to His Sacred Heart, let us entrust our families, our intentions, and our hearts to Christ, who never ceases to love us.

❤️ Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
