Text: Matthew 28:1-10, 19-20

Who is against Jesus:
Judas, temple guards, Peter denies Him and His disciples run away, Sanhedrin court/Jewish leaders, Pilate, Herod, Roman soldiers, crowds of everyday people.

What is against Jesus:
Found guilty of nothing by Jewish leaders, crucified on a Roman cross until pronounced dead, laid in a stone tomb with a large stone over the entrance then sealed, at least two Roman soldiers guarding the entrance.

Matthew 26:53-54
Everything God has said has happened or is happening or will happen. It must happen.

Nothing can stop Jesus!

Jesus is for us:
He is not here, He is risen; go quickly and tell His disciples; He is going before you; Behold I have told you; they went with fear and great joy; they ran to bring His disciples word; Rejoice!; Do not be afraid, go and tell; Go; make disciples; baptize; teach; I am with you always, even to the end of the age!

This is a surprise for Darrel and DeeDee:
This Sunday will be Darrel and DeeDee’s thirty-year anniversary at our church. We want to celebrate them with a potluck fellowship and special recognition. We will have a guest speaker who was called into the ministry under Darrel in Missouri and their family has been invited to help celebrate them. There will be a table set up for cards and gifts if you would like to show them your appreciation. Also, if you have pictures of them from the past thirty years and would like to make a poster board that would be great too.
