Spent this morning at this desk with God's Word meditating, praying, studying, and preparing for what the Lord has for us this week.

Tomorrow night at 6:30pm, we’re diving into 1 Corinthians 4. We have been looking at How we are to Live Holy in this Corrupt Culture. And this week specifically we are going to look at being Found Faithful as stewards of God's Word and how we are to live to please and Honor Him in all that we Do and Say, and how His Grace leaves us no room for pride in ourselves. Ultimately what it all boils down to is this: Am I living to impress people, or am I living to be found faithful by God?

And then Sunday I’ll be sharing something the Lord has been stirring deeply in my heart from Luke 5. It's still in the oven but this is what I feel the Holy Spirit speaking: When everything you know says it won’t work, faith says, “Nevertheless at Your Word” because one Word from Jesus can change everything.

Make plans now to be in the Lord’s house tomorrow night, and come expecting again on Sunday. I believe God has something powerful for us! There’s nothing like gathering together around God’s Word.

Today’s Prayer Focus: Pray for the Harvest

As I spent time praying at the church today, I was reminded that we don’t always get to see the harvest from the seeds we sow.
This week, someone who was in our youth ministry over 20 years ago reached out and shared what God is doing in his life today.

That opened the door for others we ministered to back then—now grown with families and lives of their own—to share how seeds planted years ago are still bearing fruit.

It reminded me: never underestimate a seed sown for Jesus. The prayer prayed today, the lesson taught, the time invested, the encouragement given—we may not see the harvest for years or even decades, but God is faithful!

Friendship Family, as we continue our time of prayer and fasting, let’s pray for the harvest. Let’s pray for our children, our students, our families, our community, and for every seed of the Gospel being planted.

“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Matthew 9:37
Keep sowing. Keep praying. Keep believing. There is a harvest coming!
