Attn THBC family and friends:
We were looking forward to resuming regular services tomorrow but our parking lot has snow and ice. This will not improve due to the cold and the fact that we have wet springs under our parking lot the water seeps up through the asphalt. Add that to the windchills in the single digits and it makes it too dangerous, especially for our older members. Better to keep everyone safe and warm at home. We miss you all and pray that we will see you on Wednesday.
Our plan is to begin all regular activities including Sunday School and Children’s Church next Sunday. And, we will have our Birthday/Anniversary Fellowship next week.

We will resume our regular services this week as noted below.

Sunday School, 10 AM
Worship Service, 11:55 AM

Wednesday Night Bible Study and Prayer Service, 7 PM
Children/Youth Activities, 7 PM

This Sunday is also our quarterly birthday/anniversary fellowship. Bring your favorite covered dish and join us for lunch following our worship service.

Due to the possibility hazardous driving conditions and icy parking lot/sidewalks, we will not have services tomorrow.

A public service announcement from Pastor Vernon:

Just left Walmart which is currently a madhouse of frantic people trying to stock up for the “predicted” winter storm for our area. They are filling every container possible with fuel. The bread aisle is quickly emptying and milk is flying off the shelf. They are calling friends and family to warn them to hurry before the aisles are empty.

Well, guess what, there is another storm coming. One day Jesus will return and those who haven’t chosen to follow Him will be left behind to face indescribable storms. Why do we not prepare, reach out to family and friends, and warn others of these storms???

The winter storm will come and go. Yes, it could bring a few hard days and some tragedies but nothing compared to what will be coming to those who do not choose Jesus.

Are you frantically seeking the Bread of life???
