Good morning church.
Been watching the news all morning recalling the events of 9/11. 25 years later I still feel some of the same emotions I felt that day. Very somber, very sad! It reminds me of how much I love this nation and I am grateful to live within her borders. Is it possible to love America and love God Almighty at the same time?? I do!! Does my love for this nation somehow diminish my love for God?? Mine doesn’t!! But I do pray for her. I pray that God would blow a latter day revival thru our land! That maybe on a day like today…as America remembers the sacrifices of her citizens that day…that America would once again remember the sacrifice of God’s Son on a hill called Calvary! For those of us have been redeemed, our eternal homeland is coming! But until He comes and gets us, I pray His light of hope and love will shine brightly thru our lives in this temporary homeland we now live! Oh that America would turn fully to God and He would bless us again!
