Dear God of our Fathers, on Flag Day we remember the U.S. flag as a unifying symbol of the people who live in our country. Although it is simply a banner of fabric and colors, it reminds us of our shared history and our call to live together as neighbors, compatriots, and friends. May we honor the principles behind our flag of freedom and justice for all. We affirm today that we are one nation, under God. We give thanks to our God for all our country stands for and all it is yet to be. Amen

Pastor Ralph Kuespert will be with us at **9:00am** to lead worship at Mt. Calvary.

We will also hold a congregational vote regarding the much‑needed furnace and A/C installation for our fellowship hall.
Voting members are those who:
~Are confirmed
~Have a record of communing at Mt. Calvary
~Have made a recorded financial contribution to the congregation within the last 2 years

We’ll wrap up this busy and blessed Sunday with our first Brat & Hot Dog Fry of the year! Drive‑Thru opens at 4:00 PM.

We look forward to seeing you there as we worship, vote, and enjoy great food and fellowship together.

The Summer Lunch Program starts next Monday June 1! Free meals are served every Monday and Wednesday at Trempealeau United Methodist Church from 11:30-12:30.

Heavenly Father,

On this solemn day, we pause to remember the men and women who laid down their lives in service to our nation. We thank You for their bravery, for their steadfast devotion, and for the gift of liberty they helped secure.

Lord, we ask that You comfort the families who bear the weight of loss. Wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding and remind them that their loved ones’ sacrifice was not in vain.

Bless our service members who continue to stand watch today on land, at sea, and in the air. Grant them courage in the face of danger, wisdom in the midst of uncertainty, and strength to carry the torch of freedom forward.

Help us, O God, to live in a way that honors their legacy by seeking justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with You. May we never take for granted the freedoms purchased at such a high cost.

We pray for a world where peace prevails, where swords are turned into plowshares, and where nations learn war no more. Until that day, keep us faithful, grateful, and united in purpose.

In Your holy name we pray,

Pastor Paul is saying goodbye to Mt. Calvary and Tamarack as he steps into a new chapter pursuing social media full‑time. Please join us for worship on May 17th as we thank him for his ministry among us and wish him God’s blessings on the journey ahead.

Mt. Calvary will be changing its worship time to 9:00am beginning June 1st, 2026.

With Sunday School now taking place during worship, this adjustment helps close the large gap between Mt. Calvary’s service and Tamarack’s service, making the schedule appealing to potential pastoral candidates and supporting the Pastor’s responsibilities across both congregations.

We’re hopeful this change will be supportive for families with young children.
