Bags to Benches Recycling Project

Small actions. Big impact.
Our congregation is partnering with Trex in the Bags to Benches challenge by collecting 1,000 lbs of plastic bags to earn a recycled “polylumber” bench for our Community Peace Garden.

Recycling plastic bags:
• Reduces landfill waste
• Supports a circular economy
• Encourages ethical, earth‑friendly habits
• Brings our community together

Join us in turning plastic waste into something beautiful and lasting.
We earned our first recycled plastic bench in April 2026.
