Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone
“Then He (Jesus) looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written:
The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone'?
Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder."
- Luke 20:17-18
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.”
- John 3:16-20
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
- Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord!”
- Romans 6:23
“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,”
- Hebrews 9:27
“so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.”
- Hebrews 9:28
“The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light,
And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death
Light has dawned."
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
- Matthew 4:16-17
“But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord”
-Acts 3:17-18
God has extended salvation from the judgment we all deserve.
The judgment is coming.
Repenting and giving Jesus our life is the only way to escape our just judgment.
Don’t wait.
Don’t hesitate!
