The Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus begins today!

We encourage all the faithful, families, parishes, and communities across the Archdiocese to participate.

This year, the Novena carries special significance as we lead up to the historic moment on June 11, when the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops will solemnly renew the Consecration of our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Let us prepare our hearts and offer our prayers for our country, that it may be renewed in faith, hope, and charity. Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in You!

Today we celebrate one of the greatest mysteries of our faith, the Holy Trinity. One God in three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. One divine unity, perfectly bound in love.

The Father creates, the Son redeems, and the Holy Spirit sanctifies—and together they reveal that God is not solitude, but relationship.

On this beautiful feast, we remember that we are made in the image of this divine communion. Just as the Trinity is one, we are called to live in unity, love, and faith with one another.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. “No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13).

May Christ, who conquered death, grant these souls eternal rest and welcome them into His heavenly kingdom. We also lift in prayer the families and loved ones who carry both pride and sorrow in their hearts today.

Let us be grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and honor their sacrifice not only in word, but in how we love and serve one another.

Today, we celebrate the powerful moment when the Holy Spirit descended, filling hearts with courage, unity, and purpose. What began as a small gathering became a movement that continues to impact the world today.

Pentecost reminds us that God’s presence lives within us, guiding, strengthening, and empowering us to share love, hope, and truth with others.

May your heart be renewed, your spirit be ignited 🔥, and may you walk boldly in faith.

Congratulations to Our Newest Priests!

With great joy and gratitude, we celebrate the ordination of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas’s newest priests.

As you begin your priestly ministry, know that you are lifted in prayer and supported by a grateful community.

Come, Holy Spirit, guide and strengthen these new shepherds as they lead, serve, and bring Christ to the world.

Meet the woman they call the Patron of Impossible Causes, because she believed no prayer was too hard for God.

St. Rita lived through grief, loss, and suffering that would have broken most of us, and yet she never stopped trusting. She's the saint you call on when all other options seem closed.

Got something that feels hopeless right now? Tell Rita. She knows exactly who to ask. 🙏

The Ascension of the Lord celebrates Jesus ' return to the Father after completing His earthly mission, revealing the destiny prepared for humanity.

As the disciples watched Him depart, they were called to trust, wait, and prepare for the Holy Spirit.

The Ascension is not an ending, but a beginning, sending the Church into the world to continue Christ’s work. It assures us that Jesus remains with us always, guiding us toward our true home with God.
