Tonica United Methodist Church Announces New Confirmation Program for Youth

TONICA, Ill. – Tonica United Methodist Church is pleased to announce the start of a new Confirmation Program for students in 5th through 8th grade beginning this September. First meeting will be Sept 13th
The program is designed to help young people deepen their understanding of the Christian faith, explore the teachings and traditions of the United Methodist Church, build meaningful friendships, and grow in their relationship with God.

Confirmation classes will meet on the second and fourth Sunday of each month at 6:00 p.m., running from September through April. The program is a two-year journey that includes Bible study, discussions about faith, service opportunities, and preparation for each student’s personal profession of faith.

The church welcomes all students in grades 5–8, whether they have grown up in the church or are just beginning to explore their faith.
