🇺🇸 Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms many of us experience every single day, often without even realizing it.

Memorial Day is more than cookouts, flags, and long weekends. It’s a reminder that courage, sacrifice, faith, and service helped shape this nation and continue to protect it.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we also pause with gratitude for those who never made it home.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13

May God bless the families carrying the weight of that sacrifice, and may we never forget those who served with honor and gave everything❤️

☀️Not every day feels big or meaningful.

Some days are simply about showing up, staying steady, and continuing forward even when you’re tired.

That matters more than you think.

Faith isn’t built only in the major moments, it’s built in consistency, patience, and quiet endurance.

Keep going. God is still working.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good…”
~ Galatians 6:9❤️

You can’t ride far carrying what doesn’t belong on the saddle. Extra weight wears you down and keeps you from going where you’re meant to go.

The same is true in life. Old burdens, past mistakes, things you were never meant to carry, they slow you down.

Faith gives you permission to set some of that down😅

“Let us throw off everything that hinders… and run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
~ Hebrews 12:1

A good rider knows, a steady hand does more than force ever will. It guides, corrects, and keeps things moving in the right direction without creating more trouble.

God often works the same way in our lives. Not always loud or forceful, but steady, patient, and present.

✨Pay attention to the quiet nudges today. That’s often where the direction is.

“The Lord will guide you always.”
~ Isaiah 58:11

Out here, not every trail is marked. Sometimes you’re moving forward without a clear path, just a sense of direction and a willingness to trust it.

Faith often feels the same way. You don’t always get the full picture, just enough light for the next step.

If things feel uncertain right now, that doesn’t mean you’re off track. It may mean you’re being asked to trust a little deeper.

🤠Cowboy life has always been about responsibility. You take care of what’s in front of you, your horse, your work, your word. You don’t always see the whole trail, but you know the next step matters.

✝️Faith isn’t always about big, dramatic moments. More often, it’s choosing to do the next right thing, even when no one’s watching.

✅Keep your word. Show up. Treat people right. Trust that God is working in the small steps.

Out here, the ground can be dry, uneven, and unforgiving. But anyone who’s spent time in the high desert knows, you don’t look for easy ground, you look for steady ground.

Faith works the same way. It’s not about a life without challenge, it’s about building on something that holds when everything else shifts. When storms come, and they will, what matters most is what you’ve built your life on.

Today is a good day to ask yourself, what am I standing on?

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
~ Matthew 7:24

There’s a deeper source, one that doesn’t run dry❤️

As believers, we’re called to live by faith. Before I became a believer, I lived mostly by feeling. If a path wasn’t accompanied by a nice feeling, it wasn’t the one I even considered.

👉🏼But feelings are about as certain as the sand on the beach. Ever notice sand is always being pushed forward and backward by both wind and water. Our feelings are no different than that sand. They’re easily changed by people and circumstances.

👉🏼In the end, When you’re “just not “feeling” it or when you feel “overwhelmed” please
remind yourself it is God and His Word are really the foundation that should guide your actions, not your feelings…trust and keep the faith (hope & love)❤️🙏🏼
