📖 “There’s a book called the Bible that’ll change your life. You should read it.”

Pretty simple statement, isn’t it? ❤️

But the Bible isn’t just a book we’re supposed to own, carry to church, or have sitting on a shelf. It’s meant to be opened, read, questioned, studied and lived.

Sometimes we turn faith into something complicated when God simply wants us to spend time with Him and in His Word🙏

📖 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
~ Psalm 119:105

And you don’t have to know the Bible inside and out before you start. You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t even have to know where to begin.

Just come as you are. 🤠✝️

Thursday morning reminder☀️🙏

Not every prayer is answered the way we expect. Not every door opens when we think it should. And sometimes the path God has us on makes absolutely no sense while we’re walking it.

But just because we can’t see what God is doing doesn’t mean He isn’t doing something. ❤️

Sometimes He is protecting us. Sometimes He is preparing us. Sometimes He is redirecting us. And sometimes He is simply asking us to trust Him a little longer.

📖 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
~ Proverbs 3:5

So today, don’t let what you don’t know steal your peace.

Keep praying 🙏
Keep trusting ✝️
Keep moving forward👣

☀️Good Monday morning☀️

A new week doesn’t have to begin with everything figured out. Sometimes it simply begins with recognizing what God has already given us and choosing gratitude for where we are today❤️

There will always be circumstances we would change, problems we’re still working through, and prayers we’re waiting to see answered. But even in the middle of those things, there is still something to thank God for.

📖 “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18

As we begin this week, may we spend a little less time worrying about what we don’t have and a little more time thanking God for what we do🙌✨

☀️🤠 Good Saturday Morning, Cowboy Church Family!

Sometimes the week gets so noisy that we forget how important it is to simply be still.

There will always be another chore.
Another problem to solve.
Another place to go.
Another thing demanding our attention.

But God doesn’t only meet us in the busy moments. Sometimes we hear Him best when we finally get quiet. ❤️

📖 “Be still, and know that I am God.”
~ Psalm 46:10

Maybe today is a good day to slow down for a minute.

🙏 Talk to God.
❤️ Count your blessings.
🌵 Enjoy His creation.
✝️ Remember who is really in control.

And as Saturday winds down, make a little room in tomorrow’s plans for worship. There’s something special about gathering together and starting a new week with our hearts pointed toward Him. ⛪🤠

❤️✝️ DON’T FORGET YOUR FIRST LOVE

In Revelation 2, Jesus speaks to the church at Ephesus.

He sees their hard work.
He knows their perseverance.
He recognizes the things they are doing right.

And then He tells them something they desperately need to hear:

📖 “Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.”
~ Revelation 2:4

What a reminder for all of us.

We can be busy doing good things. We can go to church, serve others, work hard, know Scripture, and stand for what we believe…

And somewhere along the trail, we can become so busy doing things for Christ that we forget to simply love Christ. ❤️

Jesus didn’t abandon the church at Ephesus. He called them back.

And He still calls us back today.

🙏 Back to prayer because we want to talk with Him.
📖 Back to His Word because we want to know Him.
❤️ Back to loving others because He first loved us.
✝️ Back to the relationship that started it all.

Sometimes faith isn’t about finding something new.

Sometimes it’s about returning to our first love.

✝️ God hasn’t moved. God hasn’t stopped listening. And His hand is still mighty to save.

Sometimes when God feels far away, our first question is, “Where are You, Lord?”

But Isaiah reminds us to also look at our own hearts…

• Is there something we need to confess?
• Someone we need to forgive?
• A direction God has been telling us to change?
• Something standing between us and Him?

📖 “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.”
~ Isaiah 59:1

That’s the good news❤️

🙏🏼God is still there. His grace is still available. His mercy hasn’t run out. And when we’ve wandered off the trail, we can always turn around and come home.

Today is a good day to talk with God, get honest with Him, and let Him lead you back where you belong.

Sometimes the challenge in front of us looks GIANT. The odds seem impossible. The obstacle feels bigger than we are.

But David didn’t defeat Goliath because David was bigger, stronger or better equipped. He stepped forward because he knew Who stood with him. 🙏❤️

Whatever giant you’re facing today, remember, God is bigger. The same God who was faithful then is faithful now. ✝️

📖 “The battle is the Lord’s.”
~ 1 Samuel 17:47

Walk in faith. Trust His strength. And don’t let the size of the giant make you forget the size of your God. 🙌

🙏🏼 PRAYER AND AMERICA FUN FACT: Before the United States even officially declared independence, the Continental Congress called for a national "Day of Humiliation.

On July 20, 1775 - just months after the Revolutionary War started - colonists across all 13 colonies paused to fast, pray, and unite against British rule.

But here’s the crazy twist: 12 years after the war broke out, that exact same memory helped save the U.S. Constitution! 📜

In June 1787, the Constitutional Convention was bitterly deadlocked and on the verge of collapsing. Seeing the nation fall apart before it even started, an 81-year-old Benjamin Franklin stood up to break the tension.

He explicitly reminded the angry delegates of their 1775 humility, famously asking: "Have we now forgotten that powerful friend? Or do we imagine that we no longer need His assistance?

Franklin then quoted Psalm 127:1 to the room: "Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it."

This dramatic appeal forced everyone to check their egos, leading directly to the historic compromises that gave us the U.S. Constitution we celebrate today🇺🇸
