HAUNTED TOMBSTONE, A LOOK AT THE GHOSTS OF BOOTHILL GRAVEYARD!
While Discover Tombstone doesn’t officially claim that ghosts are real, there are many residents, businesses, and tourists that would answer that question with a resounding YES! As a matter of fact, there is a group that calls Tombstone home, namely Goose Flats Paranormal, (You should check out their pages!)
For the town being known as “The Town Too Tough to Die,” Tombstone is ironically known for the dead. Gunslingers, soiled doves, miners, business folk, and saddle bums call Boothill home. Even the streets of this city conjure tales of the dearly departed, and the currently residing spirits, that never seem to leave! Ghost Trip Investigation, a worldwide PHENOM of paranormal investigation has been in Tombstone several times and has investigated both Boothill Graveyard, the The Bird Cage Theatre, and Schieffelin Hall!
Boothill is not Tombstone's first cemetery, but it IS Tombstone's most notoriously famous graveyard. Likely the most famous Wild West graveyard on Earth! Boothill interred outlaws and normal folk alike from 1881-1884. Spiritual activity should come as no surprise, as the cause of death was often gunshots, wagon wheels crushing heads, mining accidents, and untimely illnesses!
Visitors report spectral beings, strange lights, shadow figures, and strange sounds. In Boothill's Gift Shop, merchandise is inexplicably misplaced, disturbed, and disheveled. The sweatshirt rack has rotated on its own, untouched by human hands. Photographs reveal strange figures unseen at the time the picture was taken.
Billy Clanton is likely one of the most prolific spirits, said to rise from his grave each night at Boothill. He wanders Allen Street in Tombstone, packing his pistol, then returning to the graveyard after his trek around town. Tombstone’s “Lady in Red”, is another mystical figure that wanders the graveyard in daytime and nighttime alike, Others witness unidentified ghosts above unmarked graves, or hear sounds from beyond near others. Children have been heard giggling at visitors. We can’t even give an estimated count of the number of visitors to Boothill that have had experiences here, they number in the hundreds if not hundreds of thousands!
Then there are the Brady brothers, they both drown in the San Pedro River, one trying to save the other. Investigators at both of Tombstone’s Wild West Paracons captured EVPs of the two, and several report a female butting into the conversations. EVPs and spirit box activity of a young girl are most assuredly associated with “Emma.” She’s a well-known spirit who often will speak in full sentences and answer questions!
Check out the pic taken from Terry Ike Clanton (Yes, THOSE Clantons!) , it’s pretty famous! Check out more at http://clantongang.com The photo of the apparition at Boothill Graveyard has been examined by experts the world over and so far, it has never been proven to be authenticated NOR to be a fake!
