The first day of school will be here before we know it! With that being said, we here at Tollesboro Christian Church want to make sure that all of our students and you, their parents, receive as much prayer, encouragement, and support as possible. One way we do that is through our ‘Adopt A Child Bookmark’ program.

VBS wouldn’t be possible without this awesome team of volunteers! Thank you to our group leaders, teachers, crafters, kitcheneers, game squad, music leaders, tech crew, check-in team, and everyone else who had a part in making VBS 2026 a success!

It truly does take a village to put on a VBS and we are definitely blessed here at TCC with all of the selfless and hard working kingdom workers that we have. We couldn’t have done it without you!

VBS Night 3! We capped off VBS learning that even though we’ve made mistakes, because of His death and resurrection, Jesus can make us new! We are super proud of our kids for bringing in over 300 pounds of change for Operation Christmas Child and as promised, we ended the evening with water balloons! Thank you Silas for being a good sport!

And thank you to all of the parents and guardians for allowing your children to attend VBS this year at TCC. It was a privilege for us to be able to teach them about Jesus!

VBS Student Prayer Week starts tomorrow!

This Sunday, you’ll see a table to the right of the stage by the balcony stairs filled with bracelets and prayer prompt sheets. Each bracelet has the name of a student who has pre-registered for VBS. There will also be some blank ones if you know of a child that is coming but hasn’t registered yet.

We’re asking that TCC members take a bracelet and a prayer prompt sheet.

Wear it all week.
Pray for your student all week.
Believe that God will do something amazing for and through that student.

They’re not just attending VBS. They’re stepping into a week that could change their lives. Sometimes the most powerful ministry happens when an entire church commits to praying for the next generation.

In the Student Spotlight this week is Ellie Mouw!

Ellie is the daughter of Chris and Amy Mouw and is going into kindergarten this year! Her favorite Bible story is Noah’s Ark and her favorite food is sausage and eggs. She loves to play with her chickens and when she grows up, she wants to be a farmer.

We are glad to have Ellie and her family at TCC! Join us in praying for them this week!
