West Charleston Church of the Brethren is accepting and welcoming to all who enter our doors. We have a bilingual service, but a multicultural congregation. Sunday School/Escuela Dominical 9:00 am

Summer Membership Classes Scheduled! Classes for persons interested in learning more about the church, faith, and what it means to be a member have been scheduled. They will be held with a light meal following worship on July 19, 26, and August 16, 23. About ten people have expressed interest. Classes geared for youth will be scheduled this fall. If you are interested in being part of one of these classes, please reach out here or to our pastors directly

Join West Charleston in Dayton’s Pride Parade! Our Welcoming Unconditionally team thanks all volunteers who joined our booth at the Marigold Festival. The next big chance to put our name out for the community will be this Saturday, June 6th, at Dayton’s Pride parade and festival! Please be in touch with Sue Hofer or one of the pastors if you could join the parade (starts at 10am, but we’d want to be gathering early, some of us at 9) or take turns greeting folks at our booth afterward (11:00-4:00). If you can’t volunteer, please come out and visit our booth!

🙏🏼Give thanks for our youth - serving us brunch today and anticipating adventures in faith at the National Youth Conference in Colorado.
🙏🏼 Give thanks for graduates recognized today: Kenzy Copas from high school, and Isaac Zika from seminary.
🙏🏼 Pray for the Church of the Brethren in Tegucigalpa, Honduras where Pastors Arely and Mario Cantor report that they have had a “red alert” status due to air pollution combined with a heat wave related to the El Niño weather pattern this year, with many respiratory, skin, and stomach illnesses as the result.
🙏🏼 Pastors Mario and Arely also ask for prayer for their aunt now detained in Louisiana by ICE.
