I just gotta say, the young adults of our church bring a lot to the table! Lots of laughs, lots of community, lots of Jesus! What a blessing it was to share the evening with them!

"Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress..." (James 1:27)

We love our ministry partners, Isaiah 117 House Montgomery Co OH, because they take this scripture verse seriously! One of our members and board members is a foster parent. She was asked recently if she had received a placement in the last month. She had, so Isaiah 117 showed up with duffel bags full of all sorts of goods that a new foster parent would need: pajamas, socks, shoes, toothbrushes, balls, and much more! What a Godsend! While we are still earnestly praying that our friends at Isaiah 117 will get their house built in the near future, in the meantime they are living out their call to ease the trauma that kids experience when they have to leave their home. They are loving Jesus and doing something about it!
