WOW!! Carpenter Road Church family!! Y’all showed out for YWEA this year and because of it, our church was in the Top 50 churches in the Church of God for YWEA giving this year! (We are #10!) What a blessing to be a part of a church that values missions giving, both locally and abroad! We would also like to give a very special shout out to our First Lady, Sis. Wendy Dowd, for heading up YWEA fundraising and sacrificing so much of her time and energy to make it successful!

Church Family, we are saddened to announce that one of our own, Rev. Michael King, passed away on Saturday. Bro. King is a treasured member of our congregation and while we will miss him dearly, we are grateful to know that he has received his Heavenly reward.

Rev. Michael King's funeral will be held this coming Friday, September 4th at 11am in the Chapel at Bowen-Donaldson Funeral Home. Visitation will occur from 10-11am prior to the service.

Please keep Sis. Martha and the rest of Bro. King's family and friends in your prayers at this time.

Thank you to our awesome church family who worked tirelessly today to minister to the family of Bro. Alonzo (Greg) Henry! Church Family, one of our own, Bro. Alonzo (Greg) Henry passed away last week. He is a treasured and beloved member of our congregation and we will miss him dearly, but we rejoice in knowing that he has received his Heavenly reward!

Bro. Henry's funeral will be held this coming Saturday, August 29th at 1pm. We will be serving the family afterwards.
