Easter Blocks are now available for FBC families to pick up!

The Easter Blocks box contains 12 blocks, a candle, and a family devotion book. Beginning Palm Sunday, you follow a simple process to help build anticipation within your family to celebrate the Resurrection: light the candle, read the story, and have a conversation. It’s that easy!

Hey parents! We are excited to offer our first annual Birds & Bees course on January 19!

This video-based class is incredibly helpful for equipping parents to give their children faith-based answers for those hard to answer questions. We’ll learn how to break down “the talk” into six simple, age-appropriate steps that build on one another throughout childhood. We want parents to have the power of first-impressions and help you set the foundation for factual, faith-based conversations.

It’s time to get ready for one of our favorite times of the year!

🌟Using Advent Blocks each year is a 25 day, simple, tangible practice that helps kids and parents anticipate the birth of Jesus - not just the Christmas presents.

🌟Advent Blocks can become a tradition your kids look forward to, so we encourage your family to use these blocks over and over again! Here’s how:

1️⃣ Before December 1, set your blocks up in a visible place that your family will walk by frequently.

2️⃣ Beginning on December (that’s *tomorrow*, friends!)gather the family each day to read a story from the included book & rotate that day’s block so that a new image is revealed.

3️⃣ Every day, the Star Block moves one space closer to the end, symbolizing the anticipation of God coming to earth.
That’s it! Easy peasy. 🎄

🌟If you didn’t pick up a set of Advent Blocks last year, please pick up one box for your family from the table near the Fellowship Hall.

🌟Advent Blocks are a free family resource that is a gift from your church to your family, because we believe the time you spend talking about Jesus with your kids is one of the best investments we can all make. ❤️

Tonight in Kids Jr. we learned about how Jesus showed love to his friends by washing their feet. Then we did the same! Ask your kiddos about it and you might just get a foot bath as well 😂🧡

Operation Valentine: Activity + Family Devotion!

FBC Kids & Kids Jr. want to help parents plan a secret project to shower kindness on some of the people you love the very most - your kiddos! You can pick up everything you will need to complete “Operation Valentine” this Wednesday or Sunday! Look for the table outside of the Fellowship Hall (between Kids and Kid Jr.), where you can grab your instruction sheet & bag of supplies!

This is a weeklong easy, secret project that will culminate with a family devotion (using candy!) to help your family talk about the power of kind words and how we can use our words to build up and love those around us, just as Jesus did!
