Paradisus Church of God Praise and Worship Center

Paradisus Church of God Praise and Worship Center Church Prior to becoming a Pastor, Richard Chronister was the adult Wednesday night Bible study teacher and the worship leader at the ‘York Revival Center’.

He also held a service once a month at the York County Prison. Him and his wife, Joan has had ‘The Outreach for Christ Ministry’; a prison ministry since 1979, sending The Power & Praise Magazine all over the United States. They started with only 7 names, and through the years it grew to over 700 on the mailing list at one point. The Outreach Ministry still continues today. Richard Chronister felt

the calling to become a Pastor in March of 1987 after attending a service with Pastor John Foster; the Pastor of the York Church of God. Pastor Foster had been trying his best to keep the services going at his own church plus keep the doors opened at a little church in Hanover that was in need of a Pastor. Brother Chronister went home that evening and couldn’t sleep. He was so restless as God dealt with his heart. After much prayer and council with his wife, he decided to call Pastor Foster the following morning and tell him he felt he should be the Pastor of that church. The very first service was held on April 12, 1987. After 7 years, the church became over-crowded as people began to be drawn in. People would even stand on the front porch as they worshiped and praised God, because there was not enough room inside. Unable to add to the church building or have adequate parking, the Pastor and his family began searching for a plot of ground to build on. They found one in Thomasville, and the process of planning and purchasing began. The first service there was held on December 18, 1995. Pastor Chronister, his wife, and family are continuing on in the Lord where they feel God has called them to be as they are faithful and committed to God.

Make Sure You Are Prepared To Meet The Lord.

”Every minute someone leaves this world behind. We are all in “the line” without knowing it. We never know how many people are before us.

We can not move to the back of the line.
We can not step out of the line.
We can not avoid the line.
So while we wait in line -

Make moments count.
Make priorities.
Make the time.
Make your gifts known.
Make a nobody feel like a somebody.
Make your voice heard.
Make the small things big.
Make someone smile.
Make the change.
Make love.
Make up.
Make peace.
Make sure to tell your people they are loved.
Make sure to have no regrets.
Make sure you are ready.”

Prayer has power. It goes places we can not go. It reaches to the heavens to God's ears. Just as no one can flee from God,..prodigals can not flee from prayers on their behalf.

All the power of the Godhead, the Father, Jesus, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! In God, the whole world holds together. The galaxies were created by the One we call Abba, Father. And He hears all of our prayers!

The days get darker but the light of God's Word is brighter. Pray that your loved one will not be entangled in the miry clay. Pray for Jesus to pull them out. Pray they will see how futile the world is, the addictions, their wrong thinking. Amen!

They can not flee from God's presence!

Psalm 139:7 ~ Where can I go to escape Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?

Testimony from Susie Moody Brie's sister.

It's been a year and a couple months since Bri got sick,
As you all know she was in and out of the hospital for months with no answers and when we finally got answers they drs said there was no cure .. At her worst she was 100 lbs, we were afraid we were going to lose her but she has sooo many people praying for her, friends, family, church prayer groups...
I heard this song the other day and it was perfect, she truly is a walking testimony of what God can do! I am so thankful she is still here with us and doing so well!
Thank you all who prayed and are part of her testimony! ❤️

Godly Woman Daily
“God Has the Final Word”
A doctor’s diagnosis is important, but it is not the last word. We serve a powerful God who sees beyond what is reported, beyond what is expected, and beyond what seems possible. He still heals, restores, and strengthens in ways that remind us His power is greater than any condition.
Encouraging verses:
“I am the Lord, who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26)
“With God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that no diagnosis is bigger than You. Give hope to every hurting heart and strengthen every weary body with Your healing power.
We trust You for miracles, for peace, and for Your perfect will. Let Your presence bring comfort, courage, and faith today.
Amen.🙏🌷

In 50 years of my existence, I never understood this until now….
There’s no English word for a parent who loses a child.
We have words like:
• Widow (a wife who loses her husband)
• Widower (a husband who loses his wife)
• Orphan (a child who loses their parents)
But nothing for a mom or dad who has to bury their son or daughter. The grief is so deep that no English word was ever found worthy to explain it.
Some people use the Sanskrit word “Vilomah” — it means “against the natural order.” That’s exactly what it feels like. Kids aren’t supposed to go before their parents. It breaks the way life is supposed to work — the order the Lord set in place for families.
That’s why this grief cuts so much deeper. It’s not just losing someone you love — it’s losing a part of your future, your heart, and everything you hoped for. It’s completely unnatural. It’s confusing. It takes your breath away. The Bible shows us this kind of sorrow, like when David wept bitterly for Absalom or when Job lost all his children in one day. It shakes a parent to the core. The pain doesn’t really go away. It just changes.
But thank God, He is close to the brokenhearted and He binds up their wounds. If you know a parent who’s been through this, just love on them, sit with them, and give them grace. They need it more than you know. 💔
