🇺🇦 Ukraine Missions Update
Our GI International Missions Director, Jon Burkley and our Apostolic Leader, Pastor Juan Carlos recently returned from their 6th trip to Ukraine since the war began in 2022.
In the middle of war, loss, and uncertainty, God is still moving:
- In Mykolaiv, Pastor Sergei continues feeding 50 elderly residents every day—many with no other source of help.
- Inside a Ukrainian prison, women studying the Gospel of Mark encountered the hope of Jesus. Twelve chose to be baptized, believed to be the first baptisms ever held inside a Ukrainian prison.
- Near the front lines, a village once devastated by artillery is beginning to show signs of hope—families gathering for worship, food being distributed, roofs being rebuilt, and a school preparing for restoration.
Pastor Slavic and our churches in Ukraine continue to serve faithfully, bringing both practical relief and the Good News of Jesus to those who need it most.
The war may no longer make headlines, but the need remains. Thank you for helping bring hope, healing, and the love of Christ to Ukraine. 🙏🏼
