Get Hooked for a Cause!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to crochet? Now is your chance!
Join us on Thursdays at 5:30 PM in the Welcome Center at Williams Memorial UMC for a new weekly craft and fellowship group. This group is led by Clarissa LaRue, who has been crocheting for almost her whole life (a tradition passed down from her grandmother!).
Clarissa will be teaching anyone who wants to learn how to crochet—from complete beginners to those looking to brush up on their skills. (Already know how to knit? While we are only teaching crochet, knitters are more than welcome to bring their needles and craft alongside us!) Everyone is invited—this group is for both men and women of all ages.
Why We’re Gathering:
Our mission is to craft with love. Together, we’ll be making hats, smaller blankets, and scarves to donate to local hospital cancer patients. On top of that, it’s a place to have fun, build community, and create something truly meaningful with our hands.
What to Know
When: Thursdays at 5:30 PM
Where: The Welcome Center at Williams Memorial UMC
