🌳 SMAC Sunday Recap 💙🐦

What a wonderful day together at the park! We enjoyed a picnic, spent time in God’s Word studying Matthew 6:26, created bird feeders during arts & crafts, and had lots of time for laughter and play.

“Look at the birds of the air… your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” – Matthew 6:26

Sunday we were reminded that if God cares for the birds, He certainly cares for each one of us. We are thankful for time spent learning, creating, growing friendships, and making memories together!

We are so thankful for the godly examples of love and faithfulness represented in our church family. Thank you to all the moms, grandmothers, aunts, and women who help point the next generation to Jesus. 💕

What a beautiful morning celebrating the women who pour so much love into the lives around them. 💐

Today, members and guests were invited to create flower arrangements for themselves or for a special lady they wanted to honor this Mother’s Day.

From children carefully choosing blooms to families creating arrangements together, every vase was a sweet reminder that even the smallest act of love can brighten someone’s day.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed…” – Proverbs 31:28

🎓✨ Honoring Our Graduates ✨🎓

What a special morning celebrating these incredible graduates at Richmond Road Baptist Church. We are so proud of each of you and the journey God has brought you through—and even more excited for where He is leading you next.

Today, as cords were placed around their shoulders, we were reminded of something powerful:

📖 “A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12

Each cord represents a foundation to hold onto as they step into this next season:

🤍 White – Faith
Your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Not borrowed, not inherited—but your own.
“I am the vine; you are the branches… apart from Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5

✨ Gold – Family
The ones who have loved, guided, prayed, and poured into you every step of the way.
“Train up a child in the way he should go…” — Proverbs 22:6

💙 Blue – Church
Your church family—where you’ve grown, been encouraged, and built lasting community.
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds…” — Hebrews 10:24-25

Individually, each strand matters… but together, they create something strong and unbreakable.

As you go forward, hold tightly to your faith, honor your family, and stay rooted in community. When life gets busy, when it gets hard, when the world pulls at you—remember this cord.

Remember who you are… and whose you are.

We love you, we are praying for you, and we are cheering you on every step of the way. 💛
