Sun, Sept 6th: Nothing can Separate Us
Romans 8:38–39

Nine weeks ago we started climbing. This Sunday we reach the summit and hear the promise the whole series has been building toward.

Paul empties his pockets: death, life, things present, things to come, powers, height, depth, anything else in all creation and declares that not one of them can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Here at the top we finally see what holds our whole new life together: not our grip on God, but God’s grip on us. That is why we called this series Unbreakable.

Before Sunday, read all of Romans 8, start to finish you’ll be amazed how differently it reads now. Then come to the Table: Holy Communion will be served, sealing the summit promise in bread and cup. Come, taste, and be held. And bring somebody who needs to know that this love will never let them go.

A Prayer for This Week- Week 9 "Unbreakable "
A Sweeping Victory- Romans 8:35–37
🙏
"Everlasting God, this is the ground we long to stand on: that nothing in all creation — not death nor life, not our worst day nor our deepest fear — can separate us from Your love in Christ Jesus. We rest today in Your unbreakable grip. Loosen our white-knuckled hold and teach us that we are kept not by the strength of our grasp, but by the strength of Yours. As this series closes, let this truth become the very ground beneath our feet, and send us out to love as we have been loved. In the matchless name of Jesus, Amen" -Pastor Tony
