Yesterday we kicked off From This Day Forward with the most important commitment we can make:

SEEK GOD.

God is our One, and our spouse is our two. When we put God first, we give our marriages the foundation they were meant to have.

Our challenge this week is simple: pray together every day. It doesn’t have to be long. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just start.

Strong marriages aren’t built in a day—they’re built by the choices we make from this day forward.

This Sunday at TAG, we’re kicking off a brand-new five-week marriage series, FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, built around five commitments that can strengthen our marriages and our homes:

Seek God.
Fight Fair.
Have Fun.
Stay Pure.
Never Give Up.

Whether you’ve been married 40 years, just getting started, hope to be married someday, or simply want to build healthier relationships—there’s something in this series for you.

This Sunday we start with the most important commitment of all:

What a great Sunday at TAG!

A huge THANK YOU to Pastor Ty Hayes for joining us and bringing such a powerful and challenging message, “YEEHAW!”

We were reminded that following Jesus is about more than looking the part. We don’t want to be “all hat and no cattle.” It’s time to cowboy up and go after what matters to God—people.

Jesus came looking for us, and now we get the incredible privilege of joining Him in pursuing those who are lost, hurting, and far from Him.

Pastor Ty, thank you for encouraging, challenging, and investing in our church family!

TAG, let’s get after it.

We’ve got a special Sunday coming up!

Pastor Ty Hayes will be joining us with a message called “YEEHAW!” — having the heart to wrangle up the lost. 🐎

Ty is a former student of of mine who is now pastoring and doing incredible ministry in Idaho—and we’re excited to welcome him to TAG! ( I cannot wait to hear him speak)

LIKE JESUS

Over the last three weeks, we’ve been challenged to do more than simply know about Jesus—we want our lives to actually look like Jesus.

- Serve like Jesus — choose the towel.
- Love like Jesus — love is a choice.
- Trust like Jesus — when you don’t know the path, stay close to the
One who is the Way.

The series may be over, but the challenge isn’t:

Keep following. Keep growing. Keep becoming LIKE JESUS.

Because the goal isn’t simply to know Jesus...

He invited them to trust Him.

What does it actually look like to love like Jesus?

Sunday we were reminded that love isn’t just something we feel—it’s something we choose. Jesus chose to love even when it was difficult, costly, and undeserved, and then He told us:

“As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” — John 13:34

So this week, let’s choose love: assume the best, encourage instead of criticize, serve before we’re asked, forgive instead of keeping score, be fully present, and pray before we react.

Because the goal isn’t simply to know Jesus...
It’s to become more LIKE JESUS.
