The David and Goliath story has something to teach us about how we engage with the world and “fight our battles,” and it encourages us to think about the “stones” or tools we will choose as we do those things. So, what tools will you choose in order to bring joy or peace or comfort or relief to yourself or someone else this week?

If you missed our worship service on Sunday, you can check out more about the David and Goliath narrative from Sunday’s service on our YouTube channel!

On Sunday we will begin exploring some "old school" stories and teachings from the Old Testament that still have much to teach us today. We'll start in perhaps the unexpected place of Leviticus, as well as with a charge levied against Jesus' earliest followers that they had "turned the world upside down." Come join us as we consider how God may still be calling us to order our lives in ways that seem to turn the world upside down!

One of our members shared this quote in her blessing over our educators at our recent “Back To School” Sunday. Teachers — we hope and pray God brings you strength, patience, and wisdom in the new school year. Thanks for all you do!

This Sunday is Back To School Sunday at The Vine! We will pray over our students, teachers, educators, and staff members during our worship service as they get ready for a new school year. After worship everyone is invited to stick around for a "school lunch themed" potluck meal. We hope to see you there!

Join us this Sunday as we worship together and explore the encouragement to "carry each other's burdens." What does it look like to do that while also carrying our own load, as the text says just a couple of verses later? We'll explore that question together on Sunday!

Our annual "Back To School" Sunday is coming up on Sunday, August 9. We will pray over our students, teachers, and school staff members during our worship time and then enjoy a "back to school" themed potluck after worship. We hope you'll join us as we kick off a new school year together and enjoy a morning of worship, fellowship, and food!

Get ready for a fiesta! Our monthly potluck luncheon falls on Sunday, May 3rd, and we're embracing the Cinco de Mayo spirit with a Mexican-food theme! Bring a dish to share and join us after worship for an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun. 🌮🎉
