With freezing rain, wintry mix, and cold temperatures forecasted overnight and tomorrow morning, we are canceling worship service for Sunday, January, 25, as well as other associated gatherings that take place at the church building on Sundays.

We hope that tomorrow can provide a good opportunity to rest, enjoy time with family, engage some other spiritual discipline at home, or worship from home by way of checking out a recorded service from our online library of previously recorded worship services on our YouTube page. Maybe there's one you missed and can catch up on! However you spend the day tomorrow, we hope everyone stays safe and warm. God bless!

Happy Friday everyone! As we look toward a cold and perhaps "wintery stormy" weekend, I wanted to give a quick update on plans for Sunday morning.

At this point our plan is to monitor the weather situation and forecast until tomorrow afternoon before making any final decisions about the plans for Sunday's worship service. We will send out another e-mail by 6 p.m. tomorrow evening updating everyone regarding whether or not we will have our worship service, and updates will also be posted on Facebook and as an "announcement bar" on our website at thevinetemple.com. So check one of those places tomorrow evening if you have questions about our plans for Sunday morning! You can also always respond to these e-mails or contact anyone on the Leadership Team if you have questions, want to share thoughts, or want more information.

Whatever we end up doing on Sunday, we hope that everyone stays warm and safe this weekend and makes whatever decisions are best for your individual situation and circumstances.

Today is the National Day Of Giving! Following Thanksgiving there are days centered on shopping, savings, deal finding, and gift hunting. But the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has now been designated as the National Day Of Giving, or “Giving Tuesday,” as a way to bring attention and funding to causes, nonprofits, and other organizations that rely on contributions and donations. It’s a day when people come together to celebrate generosity and noble causes. If you would like to give to The Vine on this Day Of Giving, your gift would be greatly appreciated! As we often say, we are incredibly thankful to everyone who is able to give financially and help us continue our ministry efforts and foster an inclusive faith community in Bell County.
