First Baptist Church of Tallmadge has been a people place for over seventy years.

The small group of people, that first met with founding pastor B F Cate in a vacant automobile showroom, was soon blessed by God with growth and a new church building where the church still meets near six corners in Tallmadge, Ohio. ptist Church offers a safe shelter from the cares of the world where one's personal faith can find help, comfort and encouragement by looking to the Refuge of our soul. All building facilities are on the ground level with easy handicap access throughout. Our mission priority is to faithfully communicate the gospel of Christ to all who come. Agreeing with God by believing that Christ’s shed blood is the only plan of God to wash away one's sins for salvation. This is how the Bible identifies God’s children who want to know God and experience His presence in daily life. Obedience to God's Word, the Bible, is how all people, young and old, grow in their personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Becoming active in a local church is a part of God's design for continued spiritual growth today. We are excited to have one of our deacons, Ethan Wilson, bringing the message tomorrow morning at First Baptist Church of Tallmadge. Ethan and his wife, Ashleigh, recently returned from a mission trip, and he will be sharing how God worked through their ministry and some of the experiences they had while serving.

Due to the sensitive nature of some of the topics that will be discussed, we will not be able to livestream the service. For those who normally watch online, we would encourage you to join us in person tomorrow as Ethan shares this special report and testimony of God's work through their recent mission trip.

We look forward to worshiping together and hearing how the Lord is continuing to work around the world.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who came out to support our youth group fundraiser car wash today. Whether you stopped by to get your car washed, donated, shared our posts, or volunteered your time, thank you for helping make this event a success!

Because of your generosity, we are helping send students to summer camp this year where they will have opportunities to grow in their faith, build friendships, and hear the Gospel.

Hey Tallmadge! 🚗🧽

This Saturday, May 23, we’ll be hosting a fundraising car wash at First Baptist Church of Tallmadge, located at 848 Southeast Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278, from 10:00am–4:00pm.

All donations will help send our youth group to summer camp this year. Come out, get your car washed, and support a great cause while investing in the next generation!
