“Count your blessings, name them one by one…”

Lately, we have been doing just that at Lighthouse.

One o four greatest blessing has been seeing two of our girls complete the program and return home. Their growth, healing, and success remind us why this ministry exists and why your support matters so deeply.

And almost as quickly as those two stepped into a new chapter, God entrusted us with three more young ladies. Each one arrived with her own story, her own struggles, and her own need for hope. What a blessing it is to welcome them, love them, and begin helping them rebuild their lives. Every new girl is a reminder that God is still sending us those who need a safe place and a fresh start.

God has also continued meeting our daily needs in special ways. Recently, generous friends sent food through Amazon, and every box was such an encouragement to both our staff and girls.

Then came a blessing that filled our entire campus with joy.

For months, we had been praying for the remaining $28,500 needed to complete Phase 1 of our Welcome Center & Educational Building project.

Yesterday, God provided every single dollar.

We are still rejoicing.

Because of this, we have now been able to move forward with our contractor as planning and pricing for the inside work begins.

Through it all, one truth remains: God has a perfect record.

He has never failed us.
He has never forgotten us.
He has never once withheld what was needed for His work.

As we count our blessings, we count you among them.

After sharing a couple updates earlier last week, we wanted to come back and share a full recap.

Our girls and staff worked together throughout the week across the property—laying a total of 14 pallets of sod, painting, pouring concrete, and making progress in several areas.

We’re so thankful for what was accomplished, but also for the time spent working side by side. It means a lot to see everyone come together like that.

Thank you to each one who prayed, gave, and shared the need. We are truly grateful for the part you played in making this week possible.

We’re planning to continue Work Days over the next few months as we finish a few more projects around the property, and we appreciate your continued prayers and support.

Over the past two days here at Lighthouse, our girls and staff have been working side by side, and it’s been special to see everything already taking shape.

We’ve been able to build our raised garden beds, plant vegetables, lay all 9 pallets of sod, and spread 4 dump truck loads of sandy clay across the property. It’s been a full couple of days, and we’re so thankful for the progress that’s already been made.

Because of how much ground we’ve covered, we did have to order 5 more pallets of sod to finish out those areas, which will be delivered tomorrow.

This week at Lighthouse, our girls and staff will be working side by side across our campus—caring for and improving the place we call home.

It’s a special week of unity, hard work, and gratitude for what God has given us. We’ll be repairing what time and weather have worn down, restoring beauty to the grounds, and creating spaces where the girls can learn, grow, and thrive.

As we prepare, here are two of the larger needs we’re working to cover:

• 9 pallets of centipede sod — $1,540
• 4 loads of sandy clay — $1,236

So far, $500 has already been given, and we are truly grateful for that first step.

🎶 What a Special Night This Past Friday 🎶

We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for such a special evening.

It was truly a wonderful night of gospel music with The Inspirations, Jonathan Wilburn, and The Mylon Hayes Family. There was such a sweet spirit throughout the service that was felt by so many, and we are so grateful for how the Lord met with us.

We are also so thankful for each one of you who came out to be part of the night. Your presence, support, and encouragement mean so much.

It was a joy to see so many gathered together, and we’re grateful for the way the Lord continues to use times like this to encourage hearts and strengthen His work here at Lighthouse.

We’re officially on the road! 🙏🏽

Early this morning the bus pulled out of Lighthouse as we began our 16-day ministry tour. There was a lot of excitement as suitcases were loaded and everyone found their seat.

Over the next couple of weeks we will travel nearly 2,600 miles, visiting churches and sharing what God is doing at Lighthouse Children’s Home. With fuel prices recently increasing to $4.99 per gallon, the travel expenses for a trip like this add up quickly.

Each mile represents an opportunity for these young ladies to grow in confidence, share their testimonies, and see firsthand how God can use their lives for something greater.

“Supporting Every Mile”, you become part of the journey our girls are taking. Your generosity helps make it possible for them to step into churches and be a testimony of God’s grace.

What a blessing Friday evening was!

Our Gospel Sing was a full house, and the spirit of encouragement filled the room from start to finish. It was such a joy to see so many friends gathered together with hearts united for the work God is doing here at Lighthouse.

We're so grateful for The Inspirations, Karen Peck and New River, and Kingsmen Quartet. Thank you for helping to make the evening such a blessing.

To everyone who attended, prayed, gave, or helped make the evening possible—thank you. Your support made the night a success in every way.

We’re also excited to share some wonderful news...
God blessed in an incredible way! Through the generosity of those who gave Friday night, an additional $13,500 was raised for our Welcome Center & Education Building. This means we now have just $38,500 left to fully fund Phase 1!

When you break it down, the remaining need is very reachable:
